MCACN Updates from the Road .....

Bob and several members of the MCACN Crew have been traveling almost non-stop since the weather broke to “spread the word” about the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show this November.

We are driving back home from the Hot Rod Power Tour as this blog is being written to update you on latest MCACN News! Over 3,000 miles down and about 400 to go. Over 1,000 MCACN flyers distributed!

Our 2010 Car Show Guide will be bigger and better than ever. The summer edition will be 48 pages long and include contributions from many nationally recognized authors including noted automotive author Colin Comer, (Shelby authority and author), Martyn Schorr of Baldwin-Motion Fame, Sam Griffith, who is a contributor to Hemmings Muscle Machines, Rob Wolf of Mopar Collectors Guide and more. Our first run of the magazine will be released in mid-July. We want to include stories on as many of the feature cars and special displays as possible, as well as the latest news about our awesome sponsors, and of course promotions for our many quality vendors. This FREE publication will be a keeper and a great introduction to the 2010 show.

We have a limited amount of ad space available. E-mail Bob asap at bashton426@gmail.com or call him at 586-549-5291 if you would like to include an ad for your business or service in the 2010 MCACN Car Show Guide. Don’t know how to create an ad? No problem, we can create an ad for you at no additional cost. Contact Bob for details.

This is a very busy week for the MCACN Crew. We will be paying a visit to Scott and Jerry Kohn of Corvette Central this week and we will be attending the 18th Annual Oldsmobile Homecoming in Lansing Michigan this Saturday, June 19th Then on Sunday June 20th, Bob will be coordinating three classes in the prestigious Eyes on Design Show in St. Clair Shores Michigan. See Stefano Bimbi of Nickey Chicago with the # 1 Gen 5 Nickey Camaro at the Eyes on Design Show along with John Tinberg who will be showing his Nickey inspired ’55 straight axle Chevy, Rick Campbell, who will be showing his ’69 Boss 302, and Roger Nelson and Terry Weiner with their ‘70 and ‘71 AMC Javelins, that you will remember from our inaugural show.

Please Note; if you are wondering if I am some idiot who uses his laptop while driving, be assured I am not. I am telling Vicki what to write to “rough” it in, and now we have stopped at a rest area in Florence, Kentucky, where I am finishing it up.

See the MCACN Crew on the road...
