It may seem like November 22-23 is a long way
off, but it will sneak up on us in a hurry!
Many of our participants are well into full
restorations of some truly outstanding cars as
this is being written. We have several very
notable Official Unveilings confirmed and last
week we announced our Invitational and Special
displays. This week we want to let you know,
we have once again hammered out some great

all really nice. As someone who travels quite
a bit and does a lot of events, I know the
importance of offering good accommodations! I
can tell you that we work very hard to make

DoubleTree O’Hare;
our Official Headquarters and conveniently
located directly across the street from the
Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. Many of
you know, this has become the major hub and we
pretty much take over the whole place. Nice
comfortable rooms, a recently refreshed
workout room, a big pool and hot-tub and they
are home to several outstanding restaurants,
including the famed Gibson’s Steak House.
Single or double rooms for MCACN people are
$109.00 per night, and they are also offering
$10.00 daily parking in the attached parking
structure behind the Embassy Suites. If you

If you want a bit more room and a slightly
quieter atmosphere, this is the place for you.
Again, they have a nice restaurant, a
beautiful pool and hot tub and a nice work-out
room and they are directly across the street
from the convention center. Special parking in
the attached parking structure is $10.00 per
day and they include an excellent full
cooked-to-order breakfast, (here’s a tip;
order up an omelet!) Daily Managers Reception
too, with complimentary wine and cocktails

Crowne Plaza O’Hare;
This one is the most affordable and again,
located right across the street. The special
MCACN rate is $99.00 per night and they are
also offering $10.00 daily parking in their
surrounding lot, which is large enough to
handle your Duallie or other larger vehicle.
In addition to the excellent pricing, they are throwing in a complimentary coupon for

The aLoft;
This one has a LOT of personality and is one
of the newest hotels in the area.
Located directly across from the new 150+
store outlet mall, behind the Crowne Plaza. It
is a short walk, (a couple blocks) but if you
prefer, they will gladly run you right to the
convention center with their 24 hour shuttle.
The rate here is $112.00 per night and they
include free internet access and $10.00 daily

Staying at one of these hotels makes the whole
weekend easier. Everything you could possibly
want is within walking distance, including
several famous steak houses, a wide variety of
other restaurants, the awesome Rosemont
Entertainment District with some great bars,
the huge Muvico Theater, an ice skating rink
and bowling alley and of course, the new
Rosemont Outlet Mall, featuring all kinds of
great shopping for everyone in the family.
This area is VERY family friendly and
there is also a Casino about a 1/2 mile up
North River Road! Plan on spending some
