HITTING THE ROAD FOR MECUM
CHICAGO
AND MORRIS LIONS SHOW!
With less than six weeks until the
Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, we are really on the
countdown! This week we are taking our last “grass roots marketing” trip and
ending the season with a bang. My first stop will be in Wisconsin to pick up
our brand new MCACN magazine. Packed with 80 full color
pages, it is the largest ever and I am really pleased with the results.
Although there is no way to capture everything we have in store for
this years show, it does have plenty of features and some great photos. If
you are on the fence about joining us, hopefully this will convince you! We
will be handing them out for FREE at the
Mecum Auction,
but if you can’t make it; we will be mailing next week to everyone on our

Mecum Chicago Auction in
Schaumburg, October 8-10. This is a really neat venue and Dana and the crew
have some outstanding offerings. We are honored to have
Mecum
Auctions as our Official Title Sponsor
and nobody sells more muscle...Nobody! We’ll be set up
Thursday-Saturday with our display right by the entrance, so make a point of
stopping by to see what we have in store for MCACN VII. I will be accepting
applications onsite for the last few cars for the MCACN show. Many of
our categories are full, so let me know what you have. We also have a
few Commercial “B” spaces remaining for automotive only vendors, so don’t
miss out!
With 1,000 vehicles crossing the Mecum
auction block this week, you will certainly be able to find something for
your collection. And remember, if you aren’t able to attend in person, you
can catch the action on

MORRIS LION CLUB SHOW AND SWAP
SUNDAY; Looks like the weather is going to be great, and this
annual show and swap is sure to pack them in on Sunday, October 11. I will
be set up in the swap area and again, handing out our new MCACN magazine.
C’mon by and let’s talk MCACN! If I’m not in the display, I will be either
out there spreading the word about the show, or maybe combing the aisles
looking for more Muscle Bikes for my collection. (and if you happen
to have one you’d like to sell, let me know, or better yet; bring it!) This
show has drawn over 1,000 cars in the past and the swap is one of the
largest in the area. This is a great way to wind down the outdoor show

MCACN Car Entries; We are
down to the end and nearly full/sold out for car entries. We can squeeze a
few more in..but not many! I am specifically looking for some Ford products
for our new Modern Muscle section, (GM and Chrysler is now full!)
so if you have a Roush, Saleen, Shelby or tastefully modified example of
FoMoCo Modern Muscle, please consider joining us. I would prefer to
fill the last regular show spots with Buick’s, Mercury’s, AMC’s and
Oldsmobiles, but will consider anything that is cool, muscular and hasn’t
been shown with us previously.
SELL IT AT MCACN; Did you
know you can offer your Muscle Car or Corvette for sale at MCACN? We have
limited spaces available for your car for sale at just $100.00 per spot. We
move in our standard Car Corral vehicles Saturday morning between 7:00 –
8:30 am. Cars must be nice and presentable, (no projects or rust buckets!).
