Exclusive Premiere Unveilings; Another
Incredible Year!
If there is one thing that really makes the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show an absolute must see event, it is our Premiere Unveilings. This was one of the original features of our show when we launched in 2009, and each year the bar is raised. Over the years you have seen the cover come off of many truly one-off Muscle Cars, including the “Four-A-Nado” 442 and the 1969 Hurst/Olds Convertible, the One and Only 1967 Shelby GT-500 Convertible, the 1972 440+6 factory sunroof equipped Roadrunner/GTX and way too many more to list. Well...with that being said, let me be the first to say that 2016 is going to be a banner year for Unveilings!

Kicking things off Saturday morning will be a “Twin” Unveiling, with the first being the 1969 Pontiac Trans Am convertible that was long thought to be gone. Yes...this is the only one of the original eight that hasn’t yet been to MCACN. The cover will come off this one and another incredibly significant ‘69 Pontiac first thing in the morning.
Many of our MCACN Official Sponsors have pulled off the wraps, and this year is no exception. MASCAR out of California is prepared to blow us away with several Official Unveilings. (think Black!) Let me say that one of them may just be the most significant Mercury Muscle Machine ever shown...and that is just the beginning. Of course Mike Mancini and the American Muscle Car Restorations, Inc. team out of Rhode Island has stepped up each and every year, and this year they are shaking things up a bit with a 1967 big-block Corvette. What about Magnum Restorations, Inc? Well, this year you will see another gorgeous Factory Sunroof Mopar from Mark and his team; a 1970 Charger R/T that is sure to be a stunner. And speaking of ‘70 Charger R/T’s that have factory sunroofs, would you believe we have THREE of them being unveiled this year? Nowhere else but MCACN! And speaking of Chargers, our good friends Craig and Michelle Dozeman have been spending some late nights working on a gorgeous 1971 Charger Super Bee that will be unveiled. This one is actually Michelle’s car and I know that she is doing a majority of the work! And speaking of long time MCACN supporters and participants, we are truly honored to have Rick and Peg Campbell from Indiana choosing MCACN as the place to pull the wraps off of their 1969 Shelby GT-500 in our Shelby Invitational display. Being the owners of what has been dubbed as the World’s Best Boss 429, we know this one will be another show-stopper. Additional Unveilings include an exceptionally rare and unusual 1967 Yenko 427 Camaro, a RA IV GTO convertible, an over the top Duster that is like nothing you have ever seen before. Of course there will be several more announced and maybe even a couple more with just two seats. More on those later!
Next Week is another big one for all of us. The Cruisin’ Tigers will be hosting their outstanding Indian Uprising in St. Charles, Illinois, while over in Ohio, the Nationals (cough-cough Mopar Nats!) will again fill National Trail Raceway in the Columbus area. We’ll have a huge display at The Nationals, so there is no excuse to not get out there and enjoy our great hobby over the next few weeks!
The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is the worlds largest All Indoor specialty show devoted to Muscle Cars, Dealer-built Supercars and the rarest and finest Corvettes. We will again fill nearly 400,000 square feet of exhibit space at the beautiful and convenient Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (suburban Chicago), Illinois. The show will take place Saturday, November 19, from 9 am – 9 pm, and Sunday, November 20, from 9 am – 5 pm.
