Bloomington Gold is a GO This Week in Indy!
It goes without saying that this has been a frustrating year for us car enthusiasts. There are, however, a few bright spots that we really need to enjoy and support. Our friends from Carlisle Events have done a truly remarkable job, producing several great events with more coming. Our Title Sponsor Mecum Auctions, forced to cancel several events and shuffling to change dates on others, have reigned victorious, maintaining their reputation as being the ones that sell the most Muscle. And they have more auctions lined up for us with the announcement of several additions to their 2020 schedule.
This week we are pleased to say that we will be heading to Indianapolis again for the huge Bloomington Gold event. I consider this one the "Gold Standard" for the Corvette world, and we always look forward to this event. If you are a Corvette Enthusiast, this is an absolute must do, whether you go for the Gold, go for the fun or just want to hang out with lots of like-minded Corvette friends.
The Bloomington Gold show has a new home, which is the big Lucas Oil Stadium. This assures plenty of room for "social distancing" and Guy Larsen and his team have gone above and beyond to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. We will be in the indoor exhibit hall in space A6 along the wall next to our friends from Vette Vues magazine. Of course, we will be talking about our Corvette Central Triple Diamond competition and our Corvette Legends Invitational display, Sponsored by Corvette Mike and Corvette Mike Midwest. We will also have some great deals on past event wearables and I'll bring along some of our Johnny Lightning Cars of MCACN, (including SEVERAL Corvettes!) along with a few of our past Official Event cars.

The Bloomington Gold Corvette show will take place Friday, September 11, from 8 am - 6 pm, and Saturday, September 12, from 8 am - 5 pm. In addition to the hundreds of Corvettes of all generations, they also welcome Camaros. A new judging category for prime modified Corvettes has been added this year. With the wide variety of judging, including Gold Certification, Survivor and the coveted Benchmark, you can be sure of seeing many of the country's finest Corvettes of nearly every year.
