Under Construction; Premier Unveilings at MCACN
Sometimes an unfortunate situation can turn out to be advantageous. While we were seriously bummed to pull the plug on the MCACN show for 2020. it may have worked out for the best for some.
The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show has become known for many reasons. One of them is our Premier Unveilings, where we host significant Muscle Cars and Corvettes that have undergone complete restorations and are being shown publicly for the very first time. We kick off the show with these, which are scheduled every 15 minutes shortly after we open to the public, Saturday morning. Over the years we have been able to host some of the rarest and most significant examples, and plenty of cars that have incredible history and stories. We have been able to bring families together, reunite long time friends and have had many original owners join us, seeing their cars restored to their original glory. Talk about memories! Yes, lots of hugs, plenty of tears and new chapters of history are written at the MCACN show, each and every year. And lots of new friendships are made and old friendships rekindled. That's what it's all about.
Perhaps it is the cancellation of the 2020 event or maybe just the increased enthusiasm, but whatever it is, this year we have received more requests for Premier Unveilings than ever. And this year we certainly will have the most diverse lineup ever. We have Mopar's, Pontiacs, Oldsmobile's, Fords, Buicks, and a Shelby locked in. We also have more individuals joining us, several showing for the very first time. And when it comes to notable cars, we have the Lawman Boss 429 and The Humbler GTO scheduled, two of the most significant 1970 model year Muscle Machines ever built. Hemi, Stage 1, Boss, W30, Cobra Jet, Ram Air; check-check-check-check-check and check! And while most are factory stock, restored to "as new" or better condition, we have a Drag car and a highly modified 'cuda in the mix too. Have to keep things interesting!
While we won't show you complete pictures of these cars now, we have included several "teaser" shots. Plan on joining us when we return to the beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (Suburban Chicago) Illinois, November 20-21, 2021. We will do what we need to do to meet any current CDC standards and requirements, for the safety of you, our participants, our spectators and our staff. With the roll-out of the vaccine, we are confident that we will all be able to get back to it in a comfortable and safe setting, which is really what we all want.
So...this worked out for several of the folks working on their cars. While it may look like working against a deadline always works out on TV, that isn't always the case in the real world. And of course the current situation also caused some parts and shipping issues for some suppliers, making acquisition of rare parts harder than ever. The cancellation allowed some to really dial in their cars and to secure those last few hard to find parts.
We also want to extend an extra special THANK YOU to those of you who did finish their cars, but have agreed to "hold" them until November to be able to publicly show with us first. Now that is a strong commitment to what we do!

HOTEL UPDATE: We have FIVE Officially Authorized Host Hotels for our spectators and participants. We work very hard directly with all five to not only secure special rates, but also to get additional perks and reduced rate parking. These hotels know who we are, they know what we do and we work directly with them. We have links on our website for booking and all are convenient to the show, with four located right across the street and the fifth just a few blocks away, with free door to door shuttle service. Recently some vendors received an Email soliciting hotel business at several Non Affiliated hotels. None of these were convenient to our show, and the rates weren't great either. As we mentioned, we work directly with our five Host Hotels in setting special rates for rooms and parking, and we have representatives who assist our MCACN attendees, which is why we recommend using them And with that being said, we will never call or email you to solicit hotel business. If someone does, hangup or delete the email. Use this link to learn about our authorized Host Hotels, see the rates and to book your rooms.
MCACNtv Channel on YouTube; We are working on a variety of short segments that we recently taped from The Brothers Collection. These will dive into some of the other things that we didn't cover in our MCACN 2020 Northwest show. You'll see some of the Exotics, some of the unexpected treasures, some Ferraris, some Classics and a fun segment we will call "What the heck is it?" We will also revisit some of the many cars that The Brothers have Unveiled with us over the years. Stay Tuned...and if you haven't already, please check out our MCACN 2020 Northwest show and please subscribe and share.
Much more in the works.
Please Be safe, be smart and be nice!
