MECUM AUCTIONS SCHAUMBURG AND CHATTANOOGA THIS WEEK!
I often say I wish I could be in two places at the same time, and this is one of those situations. This week, the Mecum Auctions team, our Official Title Sponsor, is doing exactly that. Of course, being in the backyard of the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, we will be set up to spread the MCACN gospel in Schaumburg, Illinois, October 13-15 at the Schaumburg Convention Center. With over 1,000 wheeled wonders crossing the block along with some awesome Road Art, it is going to be another home run event. Over in Chattanooga, the Mecum crew has over 600 cars crossing the block, October 14-15, in conjunction with the Chattanooga Motor Fair. I spotted a gorgeous Daytona on the docket and the blue '69 COPO Camaro is another winner. As always, the offerings are outstanding and the fact is,

MCACN Hotels: It is true that with well over 2,000 room nights already booked, most of our original Official Host Hotels are now sold out. As of this writing, the aLoft, which is directly behind the Crowne Plaza, just a few blocks from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, has a few more remaining rooms available at $139.00 per night. They offer door to door shuttle service, reduced rate parking and more for our spectators and participants and it is a really neat Hotel. In the interest of helping YOU, we have expanded our authorized Hotel list to now include the Comfort Inn O'Hare with a rate of $115.00 per night with FREE parking and also the Sonesta Chicago O'Hare (Coming Soon) with a rate of $125.00 with $5.00 daily parking. While these two are not within walking distance, they are offering shuttle service to the convention center and they are nice, clean hotels with excellent service. MCACN Car Entry: Nearly all of our classes are now full. We have limited openings for Corvette Central Triple Diamond contenders and can accommodate a few more Super Street and Non Judged entries. Barn Finds, Vintage, Milestone, Pinnacle and Concours Judged classes are completely full and we have a "standby" list in case we get any cancellations. Email me at bashton426@gmail.com
