MCACN TEAM GEARING UP FOR OUR 15TH SHOW!
OK...so we launched the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show back in 2009. Doing the math, this should be the year for our 16th show, but due to Covid, we had to lay low for a while, so it is with great pride that we are now gearing up and ready for the big #15. While many thought we were crazy launching a highly specialized public event at that time, I sure am glad we did. Hats off to my fellow MCACN Members who stepped up and continue to support what we all love. The MCACN show has become a sort of Family Reunion, where friends and enthusiasts gather to see the absolute Best of the Best, the Rarest of the Rare and quite simply, the coolest examples of American Muscle ever to gather under one roof, annually.
With the ever increasing enthusiasm for our hobby, we are honored to be able to provide a place where we can all get together, share stories and make memories. I always say, the cars may get us together but it's the people that make the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show what it is. My favorite aspect is the simple fact that nearly everyone checks their ego at the door. The guy (or Lady!) over there may well be the owner of that multi-million dollar GT40 you're drooling on or several of those Hemi cars or that Yenko, but rest assured he or she is having as much fun and is as passionate as you, and most likely has a story or two to share. And that is what it's all about.
So with that being said, it isn't too early to make plans. Every year many parts of the show fill fast, as do the area hotels. We work very hard to make sure we can comfortably accommodate you and your family, whether you are showing with us, showcasing your products or services or are an all important spectator. And YES...spectators are a key ingredient to our continued success. You see, unlike a trade show or the auctions, the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show is gate dependent, meaning we need spectators to join us and buy a ticket so that we can continue to do what we do. Might not be the best business plan, but the MCACN show was never intended to be a huge money maker! Bottom line is, we need you, and we also ask that you help us spread the word, bring your friends and let everyone know what a cool event the MCACN show is.

OFFICIAL HOST HOTELS: So, one of the many ways we work to accommodate you is by securing great deals at the best area hotels. With rates starting this year at just $124 per night, (Crowne Plaza, right across the street) we have SEVEN different Official Host Hotels for you to choose from. FIVE are literally directly across the street from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, two of them are connected via the overhead skybridge, one is a few blocks away and one is a few miles away but offers shuttle service and $10 daily parking. And remember, while we are close to Chicago, Rosemont is a nice, clean suburban area, just minutes from the Chicago O'Hare Airport.

Don't wait, as it is not too early. In 2023 we had nearly 2,500 room nights booked at these seven hotels, and that is some pretty serious business. Yes....MCACN peeps pretty much take over the community of Rosemont, and they welcome us with open arms. While it may seem like November is a long way off, it certainly doesn't feel like it was nearly 3 months since our last show!

MECUM KISSIMMEE: Wow...just WOW! Congrats go out to our Official Title Sponsor MECUM AUCTIONS on their incredible Kissimmee Auction. While it isn't unusual for the Mecum team to smash records, this year quite simply was incredible. How incredible? MCACN SPECIAL DISPLAYS AND CAR ENTRY: We have most of our Invitational and Special displays locked in with several more to be announced over the next several months. Whether your car fits one of the special displays or not, if it is a prime example of American Muscle or among the finest Corvettes, please consider joining us. Priority is always given to rarely (if ever!) shown cars, cars being shown for the very first time and unusual vehicles that have great stories. Let us know what you have.
I'll be heading west to meet with collectors and several of our sponsors over the next few weeks. The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show is always a "work in progress" and we welcome your thoughts and feedback. We are always the weekend before Thanksgiving, which is November 23-24 this year.
