We often brag about being affiliated with the very best in the industry when it comes to our Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Official Sponsors. Driving that point home is Corvette Central, who have been on board with us since our inception in 2009.
50 years ago Corvette parts were scarce and most Corvette owners spent time sifting through used parts at swap meets. It was then that Jerry Kohn, a Corvette enthusiast from Michigan, was searching out much needed parts for a 1958 Corvette. He soon found that the parts he needed were either unavailable, of poor quality or overpriced.
Luckily, being a tool and die maker by trade allowed Jerry the opportunity to build tooling and die cast his first reproduction parts, grille teeth for 1953-1960 Corvettes. In October of 1974, he took his first sets of reproduction grille teeth to a Corvette show in Illinois. Soon other Corvette owners were asking for grille teeth and Jerry began making sets for fellow restorers. The need for reproduction Corvette parts greatly exceeded Jerry's expectations. And that is where it all began.
This year marks 50 years of supplying and manufacturing Corvette parts for everything from C1-C8. Their vast inventory and individual catalogs for each generation assure they have what you need.
In August 2022, Jerry Kohn announced the sale of Corvette Central to Legendary Companies. They joined MCACN Official Sponsor Coker Tire and Paragon Corvette in Legendary's portfolio. And this year they commemorate the 50th Anniversary milestone with a car show, Sunday, September 27, from 9 am - 2 pm at their headquarters in Sawyer, Michigan. This all Corvette show is open to any Corvette, stock or modified and is totally free. Danny Kellermeyer of DJ Racing will be there with his C5 and C6 Corvette race cars, answering your questions. They will also have the 2025 Great Race Giveaway 1972 Corvette on display and they will announce the name of the winner. Add in some BBQ and music supplied by DJ Fire and you have the recipe for a super fun day!
The "Jerry Kohn Caretaker of the Legend Award" will be presented to one lucky Corvette from each generation!

We are pumped up and excited! The show will take place Saturday, November 22, and Sunday, November 23 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (SUBURBAN Chicago) Illinois. We will again fill nearly 400,000 square feet of exhibit space with over 600 cars that are joining us from 40+ states and Canada.
