WE WELCOME THE START OF A NEW YEAR

Anyone into the Muscle Car and Corvette world knows that right after the holidays, it's time to dive back into the hobby we all love. Of course, if you're reading this eblast, you already know that.

So let's talk about the biggest, the best and the most diverse automobile auction(or even A or C-body!) , from our Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Official Title Sponsor: the incredible Mecum Kissimmee auction. With over 4,500 lots crossing the block over 13 days, there really is something for everyone. As the week starts, the amount of cool cars and yes...even affordable classics gets the ball rolling. Already this week I have seen a bunch that I would love to own. And they aren't all multi-million dollar gems. Of course, if you are in the market for a multi-million dollar gem, they have that covered.

Those of you who joined us at MCACN got to see what may be the ultimate. The 1972 Ferrari 250 GTO Bianco Speciale could very well earn the title of being the highest priced car ever to sell at auction, and rightfully so. When it comes to rare opportunities, this hits the nail on the head. And of course, the other Ferraris that are being offered is nothing short of incredible.

But alas...let's talk about American Muscle. Over the years we have seen some of the finest Yenko Supercars at MCACN. This year you have the opportunity to join that elite club, as they are offering some gorgeous Yenko Camaros along with a Yenko 427 Nova and Chevelle from the Cliff Ernst Collection. Another rare and unprecedented opportunity. But perhaps it's a Mopar you are hunting for. Whether you are looking for a B-body or an E-body, hardtop or convertible, there are way too many to list here to choose from. Wing Cars? Check! And you Ford and Shelby aficionados have plenty to choose from too, including several notable Cobras, GT350's and GT500's and how about the 1966 GT40 Mk IV Lightweight, another you saw at MCACN? Now that's a rare opportunity!

Then we have prime pieces of Road Art direct from our good friend and Official MCACN Sponsor Mike Yager of Mid America Motorworks from his own personal MY Garage Collection; yet another rare opportunity. And speaking of Corvettes, remember that gorgeous '63 Design Concept that Peter Brock Unveiled at MCACN Saturday morning, November 22? Well Peter will be there, and you can be the next owner of this true work of art. With that kind of build quality and provenance, you can't go wrong. And to hear what makes this car special, here is a video of Peter right from the MCACN show floor after the Unveiling! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VV2acvhIcsw

But alas...this is literally a drop in the bucket as the Mecum team will be hard at work all week, up until Sunday, the 18th and gates open at 8 am at the Osceola Heritage Park every day. And of course, there is much more to see and do (and buy!) including motorcycles, boats and all kinds of Road Art.

Hopefully you can be there but if not, you can catch all of the action. YES...they ARE on ESPN+ and ROKU and they also have their live and readily available block cam which you can access through YouTube! This runs from start to finish and anyone with computer access can watch at any time for FREE.
