EyesOn Design Car show

This weekend...
This weekend we will be at the EyesOn Design Automotive Design Exhibition in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. This prestigious event takes place on Fathers Day, June 17 at the beautiful grounds of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House. I have been heavily involved in the show for many years as a member of both the Leadership Committee and the Vehicle Selection Committee, and really enjoy it. EyesOn Design is a very different Concours style show focusing on the design aspect of automobiles, motorcycles and this year, vintage hydroplanes. It is a benefit show for the Detroit Institute of Opthamology (DIO), an internationally-recognized non-profit which accelerates the development of “artificial vision” — technology which will one day allow some blind and visually impaired persons to regain some vision to see the world around them, including seeing the designs of automobiles. Equally important, the DIO provides aid to the visually impaired and blind of Michigan. Please see www.eyesondesigncarshow.com for more information. I am pleased to say I have invited quite a few MCACN “alumnus” who will be coming in from several states for this Invitation Only event with their great cars. Thanks go out to all of them for helping me support this great cause. This is a really beautiful and relaxing show with over 300 entrants this year, so please plan on joining us.
Or if you are in a more southerly location, you can attend the Mecum Auction in North Little Rock Arkansas!
