NATIONAL PRINT MAGAZINES FEATURE THE MCACN SHOW

Earning awards and trophies is always good, but for me what is even cooler is seeing my car, or in this case, the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, in print. Over the past few weeks we have received multiple magazines with awesome full features on the MCACN show. And I’ve got to say, for me there may be nothing cooler than seeing two, three or in some cases even four national magazines on the rack at my local Barnes & Noble that have MCACN features!
  Hemmings Muscle Machines March 2016

Our friends at Hemmings Muscle Machines said in their March 2016 issue “To witness such automotive treasures right up close is an exceptionally rare treat that the organizers of what has come to be known as MCACN have somehow managed to repeat seven times now.” Gary Gerstner captured the show with his outstanding photo’s and Terry McGean tells the story, and they did a great job of highlighting many of the coolest cars. They gave a us five full pages, and I think they did a great job of capturing what we are all about. Mopar Action June 2016

Over in the Mopar camp, Mopar Action magazine came through with a nice feature written and photographed by our good friend Goeff Stunkard in the new March issue. I’m happy to say he did not include some of the “after hours” photos he took when we were trying to stage some shots by the Hemi E-Body convertibles, as we were all somewhat sleep deprived and getting a bit goofy. You know...we can sleep next week! lol
  Muscle Car Review March 2016

Muscle Car Review magazine, who dubbed us “The Pebble Beach of Muscle Cars” several years ago, came through with another awesome feature in their March issue with five full pages titled “MCACN Resets Perfection.” Thanks go out to Drew Hardin and ace photographer Arvid Svendsen for this one. And that’s not all; Drew told us that there was so much to cover this year that they will also have a full feature in the April issue on the Barn Find/Hidden Gems area, and then another specific to our Vintage Certification area after that! Whew...now that is cool.
  Mopar Collectors Guide April 2016

This is some of the major publications you’ll find on the stands now, and there are more. In fact, Mopar Collectors Guide has devoted the entire April 2016 issue to our show, with each and every featured car, (and a truck) that is between the pages being vehicles that were at this years show. Now that must be a first! Editor Rob Wolf tells me he plans on making this an annual affair, since there is always so much to cover. Thanks go out to Rob, photographer Tim Costello, along with photo contributors Gary Riley and Dave Ferro.

Oh...and here’s another cool little tidbit of information; TWO of these magazines feature MCACN Official Unveiling cars that were restored by Official MCACN Sponsors on their covers. Mopar Collectors Guide features the one-off 1972 440+6 Roadrunner/GTX from The Brothers Collection that was restored and unveiled by Mark Sekula and his Magnum Restorations team while Muscle Car Review features the 1970 426 Hemi Superbird restored and unveiled at MCACN in 2014 by Mike Mancini and his crew at American Muscle Car Restorations, Inc. But wait...there’s more! Another MCACN Official Sponsor, Apex Autosports received a nice plug with an awesome shot of “The Last Hemi” 1971 Charger R/T that was unveiled by Andrew and Megan and their team in the MCACN coverage in Mopar Action.

Once again, this drives home the fact that the absolute best of the best and the rarest of the rare are shown at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show every year. It also shows that many are shown for the very first time, assuring that each and every year you get to see a fresh, new show, filled with unexpected treasures.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of our media friends that continue to help us spread the word about what we do. Congrats go out to each of you that received some well deserved recognition, since being a stand-out at the MCACN show makes quite a statement! I would also like to encourage you to support these magazines by letting them know we all appreciate the coverage and most importantly, subscribe or buy them from the news stand!
