UPRISING AND THE NATIONALS THIS WEEKEND!
On any given day throughout the summer, we can choose a cruise or car show, but on some weekends there are shows that are must do events. This is one of those weekends, and I wish I could be at both!

Indian Uprising; Our good friends from the Cruisin’ Tigers do a truly outstanding job on this one, and they work all year long to make it a success. The show takes place Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14 in St. Charles, Illinois. With the addition of the all makes cruise-in Saturday at 4:00 pm, they took a good thing and made it even better. Sunday brings the all Pontiac show, and they will draw 500+ cars to the Pheasant Run Resort. Along with the “two” shows, they have a swap meet, an indoor car display, the midway, seminars and much more. We really love this event, and even if you aren’t a Pontiac person, it is nothing but fun. MCACN is an Official Sponsor, so you know it is a good one! For full details, go to www.cruisintigers.com
The Nationals; OK, so yes...it is true that some say I have a bit of a Mopar bias, but bottom line is I appreciate them all. Anyway, I have participated in The Nationals, or what we all know is really The Mopar Nationals since its inception back in 1980. Geez...I am old! Anyway, if you want to see non stop racing, find your parts in the huge swap meet or see row after row of all types of Mopars, then this is the place to be this weekend, August 12-14. We have a huge display in the midway, right on the end of the aisle across from the check-in/souvenir tent. Look for the MCACN banners and stop by to see what we have in store for 2016. We always find great cars for the show here, and I already have lots of out of state people coming by to show me their cars. I am especially looking for Factory Sunroof cars, 1966’s and 1971’s, (especially ‘66 street Hemi’s!) for our Invitational displays, prime examples of tastefully modified Modern Muscle and as always, anything that is cool and unusual. We also need a few more Mopar Barn Finds and Hidden Gems, so let’s hear about them! For full information on The Nationals, go to www.moparnats.org.
MCACN HATS; Trade in to Trade up at The Nationals! OK, so we are always looking for ways to spread the word about the MCACN show so here’s the deal. Bring me ANY old hat, and trade it in for a brand spankin’ new Offical Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals hat! Yep...easy as that; bring your old, tired, ratty hat, and leave the tent wearing the coolest hat of them all. And for the ladies, by popular demand we have our new White with Pink logo MCACN hats! (OK..you guys can wear them too). Our booth is located in Row Zero, spaces 3-4, and you can miss our banners, so stop by any time Friday through Saturday while supplies last. One catch...you gotta wear it to help us spread the word!
