We are truly honored to have some of the absolute best of the best from the automotive art world joining us at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show. A few weeks ago we introduced you to our 2016 Official Featured Artist, Branden Hochstetler. This week we want to share the latest from Michael Irvine, who joins us from St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada. Michael has several new offerings that are right on target for the MCACN 2016 show. With our Cars of Carroll Shelby Invitational display as a big feature this year, Michael’s latest painting, “Snakin’ Through The Snow” is sure to be a hit. This is his latest Shelby Mustang painting, which features the 2008 Shelby GT500KR and it’s classic predecessor, the 1968 Shelby GT500KR, and it is the third installment in Michael’s ‘Now and Then’ series. “Ford has definitely kept the muscle car alive with its continuous production of the Mustang”, says Michael, “And what better cars to hug the curves and handle the slippery slopes than the ‘kings of the road’, the classic and modern Shelby GT500KR.” The original watercolor painting pays tribute to two of Ford Motor Company’s high performance Shelby Cobras. 2008 marked the 40th Anniversary of Ford Motor Company’s original King of the Road and in celebration, the 540 hp retro designed Shelby GT500KR was released. Michael chose to feature these cars handling the dangerous curves of a still ice-covered road, each one’s reflection its ‘other generation’ counterpart. “Snakin’ Through The Snow” by Michael Irvine
And if you are a Mopar enthusiast, Michael is excited to announce the release of “Right On Spaulding!”  A long time coming, this incredible high impact painting pays tribute to a Mopar icon in Michael’s captivating “story in the reflection” style. “I’d been thinking about a Grand Spaulding Dodge painting for a while, but really wanted to do something unique. Meeting Mr. Norm last year, ultimately was the catalyst that got me going ahead with it”, says Michael.
This original watercolor painting features the 1970 Plum Crazy Dodge Super Bee as it turns “right on Spaulding” Avenue. (Coincidently, since Spaulding is a one way, there is only one way to travel on it … the right way!) In the reflection, you’ll discover the busy dealership, Norm’s mini Charger, a ‘Cuda, a Six Pack car, the Charger 500 and Mr. Norm himself. Of special interest to collectors, 300 of the 800 limited edition prints have been cosigned by Mr. Norm and have a Grand Spaulding Dodge logo printed Remarque, and you can get yours at the show. Of course, Mr. Norm will be joining us with his own big display of memorabilia and he will be at the show Saturday and Sunday.

Automotive art makes an excellent gift for your favorite car enthusiast, and there is nothing better then purchasing directly from the artist. Please plan on seeing the displays from Michael and Branden along with David Snyder, Mary Watts-Yeadon and Steven Macy and taking home something for yourself and your favorite car nut.
