We Head to the Mecum Auction in Schaumburg This Week!
This week we get the opportunity to enjoy an awesome Mecum Auction while spreading the word about the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show right in our own backyard. This may not be the biggest Mecum Auction of the year, but with over 1,000 cars, trucks, motorcycles and prime examples of Road Art crossing the block, it is another must do event presented by our Official Title Sponsor. The auction kicks off Thursday, and we will have a display and I’ll be spreading the word onsite. We have a lot to talk about, so plan on stopping by to catch up. I will also have Pre-Sale discount tickets available for $25 per Adult, so if you want to save $5 per ticket and avoid the lines, catch up with me at the auction. The auction takes place from Thursday, October 5 through Saturday, October 7 at the Schaumberg Convention Center. NEW MCACN MAGAZINE IS ON THE PRESS! As mentioned in our last E-blast, we have been hard at work on our new 80 MCACN annual magazine. There is so much in there, but it is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what we have in store for you when we return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (suburban Chicago), Illinois, November 18-19. With over 500 cars already confirmed and over 400 being shown in Chicago for the first time, the show is incredibly fresh. In fact, we have over 100 cars that are being shown for the very first time anywhere! Seriously, we’d need a phone book size magazine to cover everything we have joining us this year. Whew...what a show! We will start mailing October 15, so if you are on our mailing list now, you will be getting yours in a few weeks. If you are not on our mailing list, (or not sure) sign up before 10-10 to make sure you get ours. The magazine is FREE, and it’s a keeper, so sign up now. Special Thanks go out to our Creative Director, Mike D’Alessio for working with me to make sure this is our best MCACN magazine to date!
MORRIS SHOW AND SWAP SUNDAY; We will also be hitting the huge Morris, Illinois Lions Club Fall Classic car show and swap meet this Sunday, October 8. I’ll have a display set up in the swap area, so look for the MCACN banners. I’ll have Pre-Sale discount tickets along with some past event t-shirts at super special prices. I also have some really cool MCACN hoodies for those cool fall days. Help us spread the word by wearing some MCACN wearable's, and look cool doing it! PRE-SALE DISCOUNT TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW; Pre-Sale discount tickets are available now through our website and also through our facebook page. Save $5.00 per Adult admission ticket and bypass the lines to get into the show quicker! Our Pre-Sale outlets are also gearing up, so if you prefer “real” tickets in hand, you can buy them in person. And don’t forget, Kids 12 and under always get in FREE with an Adult, and we have plenty of activities for the kiddos, so please bring them along.
Car Entry; We have very limited openings for a few more cars. Many categories are full, so let us know what you would like to show. E-mail clear pics and information directly to bashton426@gmail.com.
Vendor Space; Commercial A is now Sold Out. We have limited Commercial B space available at just $200.00 per 10 x 12’ spot. Must be automotive related! If you aren’t automotive, please don’t ask! To lock in your spots now, click here.
Sell your car at MCACN; We have limited VIP Car For Sale spots available at $250.00 per spot. These are in the center hall with larger spaces that are stanchioned off. We also have an onsite Liaison during all open show hours in this area. Must be a high end Muscle Car or Corvette and be Pre-Approved. For the general Car For Sale area, spots are $100.00 each. This is located at the back of the “big room” and move in is Saturday morning. Again, cars must be nice, absolutely no beaters or ugly stuff! To sell your car at MCACN, submit your entry here. Hotel Update; The DoubleTree O’Hare and the Embassy Suites O’Hare are now sold out. Not to worry, as we have plenty of rooms blocked for you at the Crowne Plaza O’Hare, the Hyatt Regency O’Hare and the aLoft. ALL of these hotels are offering special MCACN rates and extra perks for our participants and spectators, and all are conveniently located to the show, right in the middle of all the action and steps away from the Rosemont Entertainment District and the awesome 130 store outlet mall.
