MCACN Official Videographer, V8TV Releases New Event Coverage!

One of the most common questions we get at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is if there is any good video coverage of the show. Of course, if you search YouTube, you will find all kinds of stuff dating back to our inception in 2009. This is cool and we always like seeing what gets posted. There is, however, only one “Official Videographer” for the MCACN show, and that is V8TV. We met Kevin and Kelly Oeste way back when we started the show and right away, I knew they understood exactly what we are all about. Of course, the fact that they live and breathe American Muscle and cool cars as much as we do certainly helps. Hopefully you have seen some of their coverage of our show over the years, and also the awesome episodes of Muscle Car of the Week, which features cars right from The Brothers Collection. These are just plain fun and we are truly honored to have Kevin, Kelly and the V8TV team on board.

NEW V8TV VIDEO COVERAGE OF MCACN

V8TV

V8TV is excited to release their online video coverage of the 2017 Muscle Car And Corvette Nationals. Kevin Oeste and the crew cover the event for us each year, and while their television episodes will air later this spring, our Official Videographers will be releasing web versions of some of the feature car videos online over the next several weeks. These in-depth spots cover everything from the 1967 Z/28 Invitational display and Sunoco Camaros, to the 1969.5 Super Bee A12 that was Unveiled, the Class of 1972 display, the stunning unrestored original 1970 Dodge Challenger RT/SE 426 Hemi gator top car, one of the 5 experimental electronic fuel injected Shelby GT500’s that were on hand and a 1967 GTO that’s been in the same family since new!  V8TV videos give you the chance to “meet” the owners and restorers of these cars and hear their stories first-hand.

Make a point to subscribe to the V8TV YouTube or iTunes channels to have the latest videos sent directly to your inbox, and be sure to keep an eye out for their full-length TV episodes airing nationally on TUFF-TV, Rev’n, and The Action Channel! Rev’n and TUFF are also streaming on Roku. You can subscribe to the V8TV YouTube channel at this link:   https://goo.gl/RIkdDS, and you can catch the V8TV iTunes action here: https://goo.gl/AZCrmu

While you’re at it, don’t forget to subscribe to Muscle Car Of The Week,another V8TV production featuring in-depth weekly videos of awesome cars from The Brothers Collection! We are honored to have The Brothers Collection as a long time Official Sponsor of the MCACN show, and many of their cars have been on exclusive public display at our show. You can subscribe to Muscle Car Of The Week here:  https://goo.gl/eEfeH9, and on iTunes here:  https://goo.gl/P5WoJA

Finally, Kevin and the crew also put out a podcast called V8 Radio, a regular-guy take on Muscle Cars and the fun hobby we all enjoy.   Give it a listen! V8 Radio on on iTunes:  https://goo.gl/jnQMnP. V8 Radio Website:  http://www.v8radio.com

Make a point of checking this out and also say Hi and thanks to Kevin and Kelly when you see them at the show. As I said at the beginning of this, they “get it” and they really understand the passion that we all have.

Accepting Car Applications Now; We are now accepting applications for cars by clicking here. Please understand that submitting an entry does not guarantee acceptance, as we are committed to presenting a balanced show of the highest quality. Cars that have been previously shown with us may be held until 10-15 and then reviewed, if we have openings. This is to assure a fresh show for our spectators. If you would like to pre-qualify your car, send pictures and information to bashton426@gmail.com. Our emphasis is always on prime 60’s and 70’s American Muscle and the finest and rarest Corvettes, especially those that are rarely if ever shown. Interesting special interest cars of all vintage are always considered. We like to keep the show interesting!

Vendor Applications Now Being Accepted; Same spaces are held for our previous vendors until 4-15. All vendors must be automotive related. If you are a headset hawker, sell home improvements or other non car stuff, please don’t ask. After 4-15, spaces are assigned on a first paid basis, meaning those who pay first get the best remaining spots. Vendor pricing will increase sometime after 4-15.

The national magazine features continue to hit the mailboxes and news-stands and the excitement level is approaching fever pitch. Please plan now to join us when we return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (suburban Chicago), Illinois. The show will take place Saturday, November 17, from 9 am – 8 pm, and Sunday, November 18, from 9 am – 5 pm. We have been called “The Center of the Muscle Car Universe” by Muscle Car Review magazine. If you don’t know why, you really need to see for yourself! As always, we welcome your suggestions and feedback!

Thanks and bring on the warm weather!
