Studebaker Legends Returns With Stellar Lineup

If there is one thing the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show wants to be known for, it is the unpredictability. Yes, our primary focus will always be on American Muscle of the 60's and 70's, but we will also have some unexpected treasures in the show. Corvettes of every generation, some 80's Muscle, the absolute best of the best in Pro-Touring and modified cars and even the occasional trucks or vans. Got to keep it fun and interesting!

One of our special displays for 2021 focuses on a different kind of Muscle. Returning with an entirely new lineup, our Studebaker Legends Invitational display is without a doubt one of the most fun and educational displays in our show. Led by Ed George with his right-hand man Jay Sliwa, along with an incredibly dedicated group of Studebaker aficionado's, this display gets better every year. This year, Ed and the crew are making up for the lost year, with two special features. First is a group of '63 Avanti's. Not just any group, but a group that has one of each of the six colors! Whew...how cool is that! Seeing even one of these is a treat, so picture a row of six of them! As if that isn't enough, you will also see some of the hottest Supercharged Larks of various years. Yes, before there was even a GTO, Studebaker was installing Paxton blowers as a factory option. And believe me, some of these will really surprise you. We would like to thank Ed and his family, along with Jay and the group, as they really work hard on this gathering all year long. Cars join us from across the country every year, and the display is always fresh. Yes, Studebaker enthusiasts are among the most passionate about their cars!

We are really excited about returning to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (SUBURBAN Chicago), Illinois, November 20-21, 2021. All five of our Official Host Hotels are ready, and we have direct links for you to book your rooms now. All five are offering special rates and extra perks for our MCACN participants and spectators, so use the direct links to book your rooms now.

Cars We Are Looking For; While many of our special and invitational displays are already full, there are a few specific cars we would like to add to the mix. This includes prime factory stock Boss 351's, Dusters and Demons, Mercury Cougars, Big-Body, Big Block cars of nearly any make, some more 1971's for our Class of '71, Corvettes with real race history and some 69-71 Judges, to name a few. As always, if it is real, massively overpowered and the best of the best, especially if rarely shown, we'd love to have you join us. Send pictures and information to bashton426@gmail.com for Pre-Qualification.

Return to The Brothers Collection; As you read this, I am probably back in the Portland area at The Brothers Collection. On "special assignment" doing some taping with Courtney Hansen, I will also be doing a series of short segments on specific cars from the collection. If you saw our YouTube MCACN 2020 Northwest show, you know that covering this collection in one show is impossible. I'll be covering some of the past MCACN Official Unveiling cars, some cars you have never seen before, some of the Non Domestic treasures ranging from the Mercedes Benz 540K to the Ferrari FXX to a segment devoted to "what the heck is that? cars. I know...it's a hard assignment, but somebody has to do it! Special Thanks go out to The Brothers Collection for allowing us the unprecedented access, and for their continued support and sponsorship. Check out our YouTube MCACN Northwest 2020 From The Brothers Collection show on our new MCACNtv YouTube channel

Car Pictures; I need to give a shout out to Avanti owner Richard Sevick. In addition to entering his gorgeous '63 Avanti shown above he sent me a whole group of outstanding pictures. This really helps me in getting the word out there about the MCACN show. If you have officially entered and have been accepted, please send me as many good clear photos as possible. I have already started working on our new magazine and we only use cars that are joining us in our promotional efforts, ranging from facebook posts to print ads to our own magazine. We also use these for consideration in what we will be replicating in our Cars of MCACN series of Johnny Lightning replicas and Auto World die-cast cars!

Here's to getting back at it. Please stay safe and be nice!
