Annual Morris, Illinois Lions Club Show and Swap THIS WEEKEND
AND ITS HAPPENING!!
This weekend marks the final stop in this MCACN "Tour" of events and festivities to spread the word. The Morris, Illinois Lions Club show and swap is always one I look forward to. Being close to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show in Rosemont, we get to see old friends and make new ones while spreading the gospel of the MCACN show. And man-o-man...do we have a lot to talk about!
While the MCACN show is close to full already, and a majority of the classes are completely full, there are a few more cars we'd like to add to the mix. Looking for prime 59, 67 and 68 performance oriented Impalas and a few more General Motors Collonade cars for the G.M. Malaise Era Muscle display and we have a few more spots for 1968 model year factory stock Muscle for our Class of 1968 Invitational display.

$10 T-Shirts! Speaking of the Morris event, we will be set up in the grass swap area, spots 150/151/152. Look for the MCACN tent and banners! We will have some Super Special $10 deals on past event T-shirts in sizes small, medium, large, 2XL, 3XL and even a few 4 & 5 XL's, but sorry, no XL's. We will also have some of our Auto World 1/64th scale diecast Official Event cars, (the black on black Challenger T/A's and the Orange Superbirds) for $10 each along with some of the smaller MCACN logo tin signs. Quantities are limited and when they're gone they're gone! And of course, we will have discount pre-sale tickets for sale as well.

HOTEL UPDATE: While 5 of our 7 Official Host Hotels are indeed sold out, the aLoft has rooms and they are just a few blocks away, and the Sonesta has rooms and they are providing $5 daily parking AND free shuttle service right to the door of the Donald E. MILITARY APPRECIATION SPECIAL DISPLAY AND FREE ADMISSION SUNDAY: We would also like to add a few more cars to our Military Appreciation Invitational display, Presented by The Kultgen Family. Can be any make or model but as always, must be a prime example of American Muscle! If you are a past or present member of any branch of our Armed Forces, we would love to honor you and spotlight your cool car. And as always, SUNDAY is our Military Appreciation Day, with FREE admission for any active or retired member of the Military with appropriate Military identification.
KIDS and FAMILY STUFF: We pride ourselves in being a TRUE Family Event. We really want you to bring the kids, so we can "plant the seed" for the future generation of enthusiasts. Kids always get in FREE with an Adult, so bring 'em along. We have all kinds of activities for kids, including our expanded Youth Judging program, Sponsored by NCM INSURANCE, the super fun scavenger hunt, Hot Wheels racing, the coloring contest and of course, the cool Model Car "Make and Take" ALL OF THIS IS FREE!
