2024: Join Us as we Celebrate Our 15th Show!

Now that the holidays are behind us and the New Year is upon us, it's time to get back to what we all love; Good Old Fashioned American Muscle! Of course, our friends and Title Sponsor, Mecum Auctions are wasting no time in making sure we start off on the right foot. With over 4,500 lots crossing the block in sunny Florida, there is no better way to jump in, whether you are buying or selling. And if you are buying or selling, WOW, what a lineup! Whether it's a dream Corvette or something with way too much horsepower, a big wing out back or even an entry level specialty car, they certainly have the bases covered. And if you aren't able to join them in person, you can bid or just watch all the action on TV.

We had a nice relaxing holiday season and were able to spend some quality time with the kids and Grandkids. Swimming, walking, LOTS of shopping, (they know me by name at Sephora!) and even Emily's first driving lesson...(she only scrubbed one curb, so I'll call that a victory!)

2023 was a truly outstanding year for us. The Premier Unveilings, the incredibly diverse variety, the largest field ever of Corvette Central Triple Diamond contenders and more Vintage Certification cars along with our biggest group of Barn Finds and Hidden Gems are just a few of the many features.

But now it's time to get serious. Again, we have so much in the works and needless to say, this is just a sampling. The big "Red Carpet" display will feature General Motors this year and being the Anniversary year for what many consider the "first" Muscle Car, the Pontiac GTO, that is where we will shine the spotlight. Of course, in our inimitable style, we aren't just lining up a couple rows of GTO's, but incorporating TWO unique themes. On the right side you will see an entire row of what many consider the hottest performance GTO's; the Ram Air IV's. You'll see Hardtops and Convertibles with the emphasis on the ultimate; the Judge Convertibles. We already have nearly all of the spots filled!

Over on the left side you will find an historical "timeline" that chronicles the hottest performance years of 1964-1972. Of course, again you will see hardtops and convertibles and some very special cars like the one above that is joining us from California, with many being shown for the very first time and several that are rarely (if ever!) shown. And that's just the beginning....

For the Mopar faithful we will again have several special features. We will host the 45th Anniversary of the A12 440-6 pack and 440-6 barrel Super Bee's and Roadrunners. When we did this five years ago, we had nearly an entire room full, so this year we anticipate filling it to capacity! This will be the third stop of the A12 Anniversary Tour, and the only one that is 100% indoors. So if you are an owner, whether yours is perfectly restored, a Day2 Gem or a Barn Find please consider joining us. Don't hesitate as this is sure to sell out! Additional Mopar themed special displays will involve Chrysler 300's and of course, we won't forget that other Anniversary! (Can you say HEMI?)

Our Ford and Mercury friends will not be left out and with the momentum from last year's show, will again have some really cool stuff for you. Our AMC and Studebaker fans will also be blown away, (as you had to be last year!) as the guys that coordinate those groups continue to create incredible and educational special displays unlike any other show, anywhere. Drag Race enthusiast? Think Lightweight/Aluminum, and how about a bit of a High School Reunion?

The list goes on and we will be making a BIG announcement soon pertaining to The Cars of Roger Penske. Being able to tell a story and educate is always on our mind, and boy is there a story to tell here! Best part is that this will cover a LOT of years, as Roger started a long time ago, was involved in all kinds of racing and so much more and he hasn't rested for a minute. Stay tuned...

The MCACN team would like to express our sincere gratitude to each and every one of you. Some of you have been with us since the launch in 2009 and many have just joined us recently. We have the absolute Best of the Best Official Sponsors, truly outstanding automotive only vendors and best of all, the coolest car owners that join us from across the country and Canada that we encourage to interact. Sharing the stories and knowledge is what makes our event so different. As we often say, the cars get us all under one roof, but it is the people that make it so great. Of course, we would be remiss if we didn't also recognize our awesome staff and Judges. We certainly couldn't do it without you, and through thick or thin, hot and cold, wet and dry you ladies and gentlemen always make us look good. We THANK YOU for your hard work and dedication.

As I always say, the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show will always be a "work in progress" and we welcome your thoughts, idea's and input. We will never be perfect, but rest assured, we are committed to constant improvement so that when you leave, you are already thinking about joining us again in the future whether you are a participant or a spectator.

Applications are now being accepted online, but as most of you know the majority of the show is by Pre-Approval. If you have a vehicle you would like to show, please email pictures and information to bashton426@gmail.com. Emphasis is always given to cars that fit our special and Invitational displays, first time and rarely shown cars and of course, prime American Muscle and the finest Corvettes.

Here is to a safe, prosperous and healthy New Year.
THANK YOU AND BRING ON 2024!
