Now that we have had the chance to kick back, eat some turkey and spend a bit of quality time with the family, it is again time to reflect. To say the 2024 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show was a success would be somewhat of an understatement. And with that being said, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to you, and so many others.
While we like to think we make it look easy, that couldn't be further from the truth. Producing a high quality and fresh show takes countless hours all year long. Yes...we are well into planning already for not only 2025, but 2026! Please put the big red circle on your new Christmas calendar now for November 22-23, 2025 and November 21-22, 2026. As always, we are on the weekend before Thanksgiving and we will return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (SUBURBAN Chicago), Illinois. Those of you who join us know this is the perfect home for what we do. Plenty of Official Host Hotels with great MCACN exclusive rates, all kinds of restaurants and entertainment options and of course, easy access to Chicago O'Hare Airport, making it the perfect venue for what we do. And of course, the Rosemont community welcomes us with open arms as we pretty much take over the entire area!
Our Staff: Without a doubt, our team blasted it out of the park. We listen to all feedback and I often say, the show is always a work in progress. The issues we had in 2023 with available trailer parking have been resolved, thanks to the Rosemont community. We strive to make move-in and move out as smoooth as possible and believe me, that is an incredible challenge. The logistics of filling nearly 400,000 square feet of exhibit space with close to 600 cars and nearly 200 vendor booths is not for the faint of heart. With the commitment of always "raising the bar" our team did an outstanding job, and for the most part, kept a smile on their faces while doing it.
The MCACN Members: While I am the "face" of the show, MCACN is actually made up of a group of eight guys, or as we call ourselves, Members. Each Member brings a different element to the show, which is why we are unlike any other. These guys open doors that I would never have access to otherwise, and each one is passionate about our hobby. I want to say THANKS to Stefano, Bill, Mike, Tony, Colin, Steve and Charley for hanging in there through thick and thin since our inception in 2009. My Family: I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge my family, who put up with my insanity every day. Of course, Vicki may have had an idea of just how crazy I am when she married me over 30 years ago, but even she could have never guessed what would be in her future. Ian always knew my intensity when it comes to cars, but his support and participation means more than I can ever explain. And I thank Rob, Kate, Charlie, Abby and Aubrey who have been my support team since our inception, in fact since they were born! (Those are my Grandkids). Thanks Laura and Nicole too! Could not do it without you both.

Our All Important Spectators; To be a viable business, we need spectators. Of course, in the business world this isn't exactly the best scenario but the MCACN show was never meant to make us all rich. Planning For The Future: While we used to relax until after the holidays, that isn't the case. With the level of excitement at fever pitch, we have already kicked into gear for 2025 and beyond. We will be announcing the new Invitational and Special displays over the next few weeks. Official Host Hotel contracts are being signed and links will be up soon. With rates as low as $144 per night at the Crowne Plaza right across the street, be sure to book asap to be in the middle of the action! We have also opened to online registration, but please send pictures and information to
bashton426@gmail.com for Pre-Approval. We are VERY Picky, and you cant just sign up and send a check! We consider all, but limit every class to make sure we have a fresh and balanced show. Judging categories always sell out well in advance, especially our Concours and Vintage Certification. Barn Finds & Hidden Gems sold out by mid-April in 2024 and we are already 1/4 full for that.
Lots of work to do and we are also planning on devoting some time to our families. We hope you will do the same! Keep an eye on our social media platforms, as we post something nearly every day.
