Please Join us at the Gilmore Car Museum for the Real Performance Meetup, Powered by MCACN SATURDAY!
The event takes place Saturday, June 21 from 9 am - 4 pm and you can join us with your car or without.
Hopefully you know about what a true treasure the Gilmore Car Museum is in Hickory Corners, Michigan. Located midway between Detroit and Chicago. If you don't, allow us to say it is a true Hidden Gem. The setting, the displays and of course, the cars are truly outstanding. This is the perfect place to visit with the whole family and this Saturday we have another reason for you to make the trek.
What is the Real Performance Meetup, Powered by MCACN? What started as MOPARs at the Red Barns has shifted into high gear—now reimagined and expanded as
RPM: Real Performance Meet-Up, powered by MCACN! Bigger, faster, and louder, this event now celebrates the full spectrum of muscle and performance cars, from 1963 to today.
And we have extended the invitation to a group of past MCACN participants, meaning you will see the MCACN tent surrounded by some outstanding examples of American Muscle and more. How about a 1964 Petty racer? Yep! And we are honored to have The Stahl Museum joining us with the amazing Duesenberg powered Auburn that you saw in our lobby last November. For fans of the MCACN show, you will see several Mopar Wing Cars and Hemis, a gorgeous A12 Super Bee, a sunroof '70 Charger R/T and more, so if you are missing the Mopars at the Red Barns event, you won't be disappointed. Terry McManmon, one of our Corvette judges, will be joining us with his very own C3 to talk about our Triple Diamond certification. Of course, Ford fans and even our Studebaker and AMC buddies will be joining us. And how about Jeff Stolowski's very real, as in the actual car that led the race, 1970 Olds Indianapolis 500 Pace Car? Yes...it will be there!
The weather forecast is perfect and in addition to the hundreds of cars, trucks and more of all vintage, (along with a few of our own Muscle Bicycles!) they will also host a swap meet. Adrianna will be joining us with her family and we "stashed" some of the 2024 Royal Bobcat GTO posters for her to sign for you. (and YES, the Straubs are bringing several of their Mopars!). Donnie Brass has coordinated a group of
Pure Stock Drag Racers, so there is yet another reason to join us.
We will have a "Fire Up" with the Richard Petty car and the Stahl Museum Auburn, followed by an All American Muscle Car fire-up that we want you to be a part of.
We will offer super specials with some MCACN past event T-shirts for $10, with sizes up to 3XL and some Ladies shirts too, along with another Super Special on one of our Auto World Official Event Cars that is so cheap, you may want to buy a dozen!
The Diner at the Gilmore- Yummy!
The event takes place Saturday, June 21 from 9 am - 4 pm and you can join us with your car or without. If you are bringing a car, we recommend pre-registration but that is not required. If you are a swapper, you must Pre-Register through the Gilmore Museum website by Thursday. We have filled the MCACN special display area spots, but as always, the Gilmore campus has plenty of room for you!
There will be some Awards – Top MOPARs, Muscle Cars, Super Cars, plus Survivor, Kid’s Choice, Sponsor’s Choice & the Gilmore Award. Add in a Live DJ, some Great food & cold beer and you have the perfect recipe for an awesome Family-friendly day.
