Hitting FIVE Cities To Spread The Word
I always say the best way to get the word out about the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is in person. Well...that and having YOU tell your friends, family and anyone else willing to listen! As you know, the MCACN show is something you need to experience in person. There is no other show anywhere like us, for so many reasons, but letting people know who, what and where is very important.
Speaking of events unlike any other....this week we are hitting the highways, including good old Route 66, to spread the word about what we do.
The Hot Rod Power Tour is a huge rolling car show that is starting right in our own backyard at the Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois. The official start is Tuesday, June 9. From there we travel to the Village of Rantoul, Illinois . Wednesday, June 10 and then on to St; Louis Thursday, the 11th when we descend upon the Worldwide Technology Raceway, which coincidentally is the home of Bloomington Gold, which takes place June 11-13.
After that me and a few thousand of my car freak buddies will head over to Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri for more fun and festivities, Thursday, June 11, and finally we head to Tulsa, Oklahoma Friday to the Tulsa Raceway Park. Now if there was ever a place to spread the word to literally thousands of like minded enthusiasts who are as passionate (crazy?) about darn near everything on four wheels as us, Hot Rod Power Tour is it!
As always, we will have stickers and postcards for you, and this year we will be pretty easy to spot as we will be going "old school" in my slammed '81 Chrysler Imperial. A whaaaaaat? Yep...my "ice cream car" is an original paint '81 Imperial (que the Frank Sinatra 8-track!) that has some bumps, bruises and old original paint. Certainly not the type of car you'd find on the MCACN show floor, but it starts, stops and goes pretty darn good and it is just plain , old fun. And no...it does not have a new generation hemi under the hood, just a trusty old 318. In fact, it kinda floats down the highway exactly the way an 80's Chrysler product should! lol
Plan on chasing us down; we are known to "power park" and we always stay to the very end at every stop. Let's talk about the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, which will take place Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22, because we have a whole lot going on.
As always, we will be looking for younger enthusiasts so that we can extend an official invitation, and as always, unusual and outstanding cars that are rarely seen. We have met some pretty awesome young folks out there who have joined us over the years, and some great families! So we plan on doing that, and telling anyone who is willing to listen to me blablabla about MCACN what we have in store for you for 2026. Hoping to see YOU out there!

Next Up; Bloomington Gold! Yep, as mentioned above, it's almost time for Bloomington Gold, which will take place June 11-13. Of course, to be able to obtain the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Triple Diamond certification and award, you MUST have both NCRS certification AND Bloomington Gold or Bloomington Survivor status, so this is a must do event. We have quite a few potential contenders heading to St. Louis next week and if you want to get up close and personal with some prime Corvettes of every generation, this is the place to be. Add in the swap meet area, an on-track driving experience, the Gold Collection and more, you have a recipe for some really cool Corvette fun.
