Adam Boca and the
Corvette Museum, along with
NCM
Insurance have been supporters
of the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show
since our inception in 2009. This year, they
are really kicking things up a notch by being
our Official Sponsor of the Class
of 1965 Invitational display.
The
NCM Insurance
Agency
is more than an insurance
agency. As part of the
National Corvette
Museum, they are pleased to offer Corvette
insurance, collector car insurance and car club
insurance. Their programs are not just limited
to Corvettes, as they we will accept just about
any make and model of collector vehicle. Be sure
to meet Adam Boca, who will be
onsite to discuss your specific needs. You’ll
find Adam in the NCM display near the Class of
1965, and he’ll be ready to talk about your
needs, whether for a single car, a collection or
for your car club. Thanks NCM...we truly
appreciate your continued support!

Malibu SS Z16
So, speaking
of our Class of 1965...we
previously told you we have been putting
together what is sure to be the largest
gathering ever under one roof of real
documented Z16 Chevelles. With
expert assistance from Z16 owner/aficionado
Jeff Helms, we will do
exactly that. A mere 201 of these cars were
built, and we will host several prime examples
in each of the three colors that were offered.
And to keep things interesting, you’ll see
Concours restored cars, unrestored originals and
even one that is coming in with the original
owner. Whew...that alone is enough reason to
join us!
So in addition to the
Z16’s, you’ll see TWO Premier
Unveilings. One is the Mr. 5 & 50
Plymouth drag car that was driven by Jack Werst,
while the second is another notable drag racer;
one of the two factory built drag Ford
Fairlanes. Both of these cars have not seen the
light of day for years, and both are being
restored as this is being written. See the
covers come off after extensive restorations
Saturday morning, November 21! Oh...and did I
mention noted Restorer Scott Tiemann
will be joining us with his Fathers ‘65 GTO that
he recently restored? This is the car that
planted the seed for Scott, and it just took
home National honors. Being from the Tiemann
family, you know it’s a show-stopper!

Additional Class of 1965
cars include the 4-speed Olds Starfire
convertible sneak peek car, a gorgeous red 442, an immaculate
Riviera G.S. and the coolest true Day2 Corvette
Coupe that you have ever seen! And that’s just
the beginning...
MUSCLE CAR ADVENTURES THIS WEEKEND!
For the past several years, we have joined forces with
Nickey Performance, who is the Official Title Sponsor of the cool Muscle Car Adventures event in the Wisconsin Dells at the
Chula Vista Resort. Last year we had a blast behind the wheel of a Nickey Hot Rod Edition Super Camaro. This year, Automotive Archeologist and host of the MCACN Barn Finds & Hidden Gems display, Ryan Brutt, will be representing MCACN. Ryan will being taking part in several of the tours, while spreading the word about the MCACN show. He will also be making
Award Picks and presenting Crystal awards. We understand there are still a few openings available and the weather forecast is looking great, so jump in and be a part of this fun event. Space is still available and while you can't register on-line anymore, walk-ins will be accepted and tours will be available on a space available basis. Call Ed Saari at 309-530-9235 for last minute information. So, drive in
this weekend and experience the best Muscle Car weekend driving event in
the Mid-West, driving on curvy lower Wisconsin roads in the fall with
the leaves turning along the roads- what a great way to spend the weekend. See their website at
www.musclecaradventures.com for the full
scoop.
Oh...and I recommend a stop at the
Mustard Museum!
