We are pleased to announce our
Legendary
Motorcars television episode featuring
the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show is now
airing on Discovery’s Velocity channel.
Legendary Motorcar is a show where Peter
Klutt, along with his crew, spend time with
Legendary cars and people.
Shot at our 2015 show, the main focus is on the
incredible group of 1970 and ‘71 Hemi ‘Cuda
convertibles and ‘70 Hemi Challenger R/T
convertibles we featured. Playing host to 27 of
the 42 produced was certainly record setting, and
as Host Peter Klutt stated, “probably will never
happen again!”
The entire show is devoted to the Muscle Car And
Corvette Nationals and it chronicles the
Legendary Motorcars crews trek to
participate in the show, not only with their own
‘70 Hemi ‘Cuda convertible, but with a whole truck
load of prime American Muscle. They discuss their
quest for the Triple Diamond with a gorgeous 1967
427 Corvette, and they also talk about their ‘69
Baldwin-Motion Camaro that scored the Marty Schorr
Celebrity Pick award. One of my favorite parts is
the interview with Dave Blake, who joined us from
Arizona along with his family and FIVE of their
own Hemi E-body convertibles. Peter did a great
job of capturing the essence of what we are all
about. I enjoyed the comparison to Pebble Beach,
where he noted that unlike Pebble, our
participants and spectators are in jeans a
T-shirts, but much like Pebble, the cars are often
worth millions. As I always say, you just never
know who may be next to you at MCACN, or as I call
it, The Great Equalizer. Check your
listings to see when our episode airs, or you can
purchase the episode on I-Tunes and watch it any
time. The title is Legendary Chi-Town
Cuda and it is from Season 3,
Episode 13. We would like to express our
sincere appreciation to Peter Klutt and his crew
for joining us and helping us spread the word.
June is a busy month for the MCACN team,
as we will be spreading the word with displays at
the
Oldsmobile Homecoming in
Lansing, Michigan Saturday, June 18, the
EyesOn Design show in Grosse Pointe
Shores, Michigan, Sunday, June 19 and then we are
off to
Bloomington Gold for the
awesome and huge Corvette show at the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway with a big display, June 23-25. We
will be accepting applications for cars and
automotive vendors, and as always, you can also
apply now by clicking
here for your car or
here
for your vendor spots.
We hope to see you at one of the upcoming events.
As always, we welcome your input and suggestions
and don’t forget to book your hotel rooms for
MCACN now. We have FIVE area Official Host Hotels,
all offering great rates, convenient access and
extra perks for our participants and spectators.

Next week, we announce our newest strategic
partnership. And here’s a hint; have you ever
thought about how neat it would be to have your
own Muscle Car or Corvette immortalized in 1/64,
1/43 or 1/18th scale?
The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals, aka
MCACN (
“Ma-Kak-En”) is the world’s largest all indoor
specialty show devoted to Muscle Cars,
Dealer-built Supercars and the finest and rarest
Corvettes. We will fill nearly 400,000 square feet
of exhibit space at the beautiful Donald E.
Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (suburban
Chicago), Illinois, just minutes from Chicago’s
O’Hare Airport.
