There is a reason that the
Corvettes at Carlisle event continues to
thrive. Being the largest and most fun-filled Corvette event in the world.
Corvettes at Carlisle features more than 5,000 Corvettes
representing all generations of America’s classic sports car. The Corvette
enthusiasm is contagious with plenty to do and lots to see. In addition to
the huge show and swap, they have an autocross, the burnout contest and
even a parade through historic downtown Carlisle. The excitement continues
with an an all-Corvette car corral, the Manufacturers Midway and the cool
Installation Alley. You can count on having fun and if you are looking to
buy a car or parts, you’re likely to find it at Carlisle!
We are honored to have the Carlisle Events team as an Official Sponsor of
the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals. Each year we are inspired by the
truly outstanding job they do at their events. Whether you are a Ford, GM,
Mopar, truck or even sport compact and import enthusiast, they have the
bases covered with their twelve different events. And let’s not forget the
the Spring and Fall Carlisle swap meets and the Lakeland, Florida
Autofests! For full information on this weeks festivities,
check it out! And for the full schedule
of all of the Carlisle Events, see
this link.
Special thanks go out to the entire Carlisle Events team for their
continued support and sponsorship of MCACN and especially for hosting so
many great events.
SEARCHING FOR SOME SPECIAL CARS;
My “hit list” is pretty small, as nearly
everything I set out to find has officially signed up to
participate in
this years show. There are a few more cars that I would love to
add to the
mix, especially for a few of our special displays. For the Class
of ‘67 I
would like to add high performance Mustangs and a Cougars along
with RO/WO Mopars. For Class of ‘72, we have five 4-speed Stage 1 Buick
convertibles,
so if there are any more out there it would be great to see them!
Over in
the Shaker E-Body Invitational, I’d like to add some 340 cars, as
we have
383, 440-6 and Hemi’s. For our Kars of Kar Kraft display, we’re
set for
Boss 9’s but would certainly like to see a few more of their other
creations. We also have limited openings in our Corvette Central
Triple
Diamond Corvette area, as we are gearing up to host our largest
field of
contenders to date. We have passed the 300 cars officially
registered mark
and many of the classes are full, so if you are considering
joining us
with your special car, don’t hesitate to let us know what you
would like
to show. Send pics and info directly to me at

HOTEL UPDATE; As expected, the DoubleTree O’Hare is close to sold out and
the Embassy Suites is also tracking ahead, sure to sell out soon. Not to

As the summer winds down and schools are opening, we are getting even more
excited about this years show. We are now down to less than 90 days until
we return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont,
(suburban Chicago), Illinois, just minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.
Please plan on joining us to see over 500+ of the best of the best and the
rarest of the rare in American Muscle and Corvettes along with over 200
automotive only vendor spots. The show will take place Saturday, November
18, from 9 am – 9 pm and Sunday, November 19, from 9 am – 5 pm.
