Pleased To Announce
our ALL NEW Website!
For quite some time now, the MCACN team has been working
on a long overdue total rebuild of our website. Actually, it isn’t a
“rebuild”, as Ian started with a clean sheet. The MCACN members discussed what
we felt was absolutely necessary and after looking at numerous sites, decided on
the look and most importantly, the feel of what we wanted. After creating the
basics and determining the best way to put about twenty gallons into a five
gallon bucket, Ian worked directly with Vicki to build a website that not only
looks good, but is exceptionally easy to navigate. With all that we have
going on...that was quite a challenge!
As someone who knows absolutely nothing about
the mechanics of building a website, I had no idea what it takes to get the end
result that we all wanted. Believe me...it is far more complicated than I ever
imagined! We now have drop-down boxes that are easy to use and most importantly,
make it easy to get to exactly what you want. The information is covered,
whether you want to submit an entry, book your hotel rooms, want to find the
Official Sponsors or just have some general questions about the show. We also
have easy to find and use online applications for cars, muscle bicycles and
vendors. And if you want to see what we have in store for our 2018 Tenth
Anniversary show, it is now listed and will be updated on a regular
basis. We have more than twenty Invitational and Special displays up, so take a
look at what we have in store for you this year.
In celebration of our Tenth Anniversary, we are pulling
out all the stops and we are committed to presenting the finest and rarest
Muscle Cars, Dealer-built Supercars and the best of the best of the Corvette
world. Our new Invitational displays are really exciting and as always, we will
be hosting plenty of cars that you have never seen before. Keeping the show
fresh, exciting, unexpected and most importantly, fun is what it’s all about. We
have also listed some of our Premier Unveiling cars
that are being restored right now in preparation for the big day, when
the covers are pulled off for the very first time Saturdaymorning, November 17. The
excitement level is high and we are working hard to maintain our reputation as
“The Center of the Muscle Car World”, as our friends at Muscle Car Review
magazine said!
Hotel
Update; As you know, we have secured special rates and extra
added perks for our participants and spectators at FIVE area hotels. Four of
them are right across the street, and the aLoft is just a few blocks away, with
free door to door shuttle service. Each hotel has its own “personality” and our
website has all the details along with the great rates and direct booking links.

Cars We Are Looking
For; As always, we are looking for the best of the
bestand the rarest of the rare. Priority is given to cars that
have not been shown with us or in the area previously, and those that are fresh.
We have limited openings in some of our Invitational displays and several are
already full. If your car does not fit one of the special displays,
please don’t hesitate to tell us what you would like to show. We strive to
present a well balanced show, make and model wise and I always like to stir in
some unexpected surprises. A few of the specific cars from my hit list
that I am looking for are 68.5 Cobra Jet Mustangs, Ram Air GTO’s, a prime 340
Duster, 1968 Hurst Hemi Darts and Barracuda’s and Original and long term owner
cars. If you own or know of one of these or any other awesome example of

Vendor
Update; Nearly all of our Commercial A area is now full with
just a few remaining spots. Nearly all of our previous vendors are returning, so
plan on again seeing the best of the industry joining us to celebrate our Tenth
Anniversary. If you are an automotive related vendor and would like to

As we approach the holiday weekend, we would like to
wish everyone a happy and safe summer. We will be attending numerous events
between now and our show in November, and as always, we welcome your feedback
and suggestions.
Remember to take a moment to remember what this
holiday is all about. This is day on which those who died and served in active
military service are remembered and honored, so be sure to say thank our
Veterans. Wishing you, your family and friends an awesome Memorial
Day!
The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is the world’s
largest all indoor specialty show devoted to Muscle Cars, Dealer-built Supercars
and the finest Corvettes. We will fill nearly 400,000 square feet of the
beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (suburban Chicago)
just minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. The show takes place annually the
weekend before Thanksgiving, which is Saturday, November
17, and Sunday, November
