__________________________________________________Mopar Time at National Trail Raceway This Week!
We all have traditions, and one of mine is the annual trek to National Trail Raceway outside of Columbus, Ohio for The Nationals. One of the largest Mopar specific show and swaps in the world, we always have a great time. This marks the 38th year, and for me the 37th time participating!
This event hosts all kinds of Mopars and AMC’s and we always see cars we have never seen before. The swap meet area has row after row of vendors and the Car Corral always yields some cool and unexpected surprises. We will be in our usual spot, right on the end of the aisle across from the Mopar Nationals memorabilia tent in the main midway. Look for the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals and Auto Know banners! And speaking of tradition, we will again be hosting the Mopar Nationals Model Car Contest on Saturday (only) in our tent. Registration kicks off at 10 am and awards will be presented at 2:30, before the burn-out contests.
As always, our tent will be jam-packed with all kinds of Mopar memorabilia including original ads and sales brochures, vintage magazines, model cars and promo’s, Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning and other die cast, and more Mopar stuff than you can imagine. This is the only show we do with our Auto Know memorabilia in a big way, so c’mon by, see what we’re up to for the upcoming MCACN show and check out all the goodies we have for your Mopar memorabilia collection. And by the way, our good friend and Official MCACN Sponsor David Snyder will be set up right beside us showing his fine automotive art. The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is the world’s largest all indoor specialty show devoted to Muscle Cars, Dealer-built Supercars and the finest Corvettes. We will fill nearly 400,000 square feet of the beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (suburban Chicago) just minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. The show takes place annually the weekend before Thanksgiving, which is Saturday, November 17, and Sunday, November 18 this year. See over 550 of the best of the best and the rarest of the rare, many from private collections that are rarely if ever shown, all under one roof.
