THE MECUM TEAM HEAD TO THE CHICAGO AREA THIS WEEK, (ME TOO!)
This week we take our final venture out before we celebrate our Tenth Anniversary. The Mecum Chicago Auction takes place Thursday, October 25 through Saturday, October 27. With 1,000 vehicles crossing the block, this is another must do event. We will be set up to spread the word and tell you about what we have in store for MCACN X.
The MCACN Show is now full in every area other than the standard Car For Sale area, which has about five spots remaining at just $100.00 each along with 4-5 Commercial B spots for automotive related only vendors at $200.00 per 10 x 12’ spot. With about 550 cars joining us from nearly forty states and several country’s, 200+ vendor spots sold and 30 or so cars offered for sale, you don’t want to miss the show!

Again this year the Mecum Team has the bases covered in Schaumburg for those of us into American Muscle. How about a very real ‘69 ZL1 Camaro? Check! We will be set up with a display in Schaumburg and will be distributing our brand new 2018 MCACN Car Show Guide magazine. Exhibitor Update; For those of you who are joining us with a car, a Muscle Bicycle or as a vendor, your extensive multi page move-in pack has been mailed out. Please read it all, as 99% of the questions we get are covered! You will not receive any admission tickets in the mail, as those are distributed to you when you check in at the building. We have secured several nearby lots for participants truck and trailer parking, and this is included with your car or vendor entry. Please note that these lots are not in and out lots,as we want to have the least amount of movement and proper security. Your Trailer Parking Pass must be affixed to your trailer to use this lot.

Sell Your Car at MCACN; Our VIP Car For Sale area is completely sold out with TEN prime offerings. We do have a few standard Car Corral spots at the rear of the “big” room at a bargain basement price of just $100.00 per car. These are parked nose to tail and side by side, no stanchioning, parking lot style. These cars must also be nice, no junk or project cars and these cars move in Saturday morning from 7 am – 8:30 am.There are no additional fees if you sell your car, so this is a great way to show your car to plenty of real and qualified buyers. MCACN OFFICIAL HOTELS UPDATE; Yes; the DoubleTree O’Hare, the Embassy Suites O’Hare and Crowne Plaza are already sold out, but not to worry! We have two additional Official Host Hotels, both offering great special rates and extra perks for our spectators and participants. The aLoft is one of the area’s newest and neatest hotels; very high tech and they offer direct door to door shuttle service. Rooms are available for $135.00. On the other side of the convention center is the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. They are offering a rate of $129.00 single or $139.00 double and they have the enclosed overhead pedestrian bridge so you can stay inside all weekend.
