37th Annual Morris Lions Club Fall Classic Show and
Swap Saturday and Sunday
Every year we look forward to closing out the outdoor car show season with the big Morris Lions Club show and swap. I have seen nearly 1,000 cars at this one, and the swap is big too. I am pleased to say that it is ON, and we'll be there, spreading the word about the 2021 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show.
We support the Lions Club, as they do so much for so many. From their website; "The Morris Lions Club is a volunteer organization dedicated to leadership development through community service. The Morris Lions are local men and women who work together to answer the needs that challenge our community. They are most notably known for working to end preventable blindness and hearing loss. Morris Lions participate in a vast variety of projects and concerns that are important to their community. These endeavors range from cleaning up local parks to providing much-needed vision and hearing services to area residents that are unable to afford them. The members of the Morris Lions Club are community-minded individuals who raise monies through fundraisers to help those in need in their community, regional and worldwide."
So what could be better than great cars, awesome people, a cool swap meet and a worthy cause? How about a fantastic weather forecast! That is what's in store for us when we head over to the Grundy County Fairgrounds in Morris, Illinois. This year they will have all onsite parking for spectators, so no more busses. On Saturday, October 10 it is the swap meet only, while the big day is Sunday, October 11, with both the swap and the big car show. They will also be pulling the winning ticket for the annual car raffle, with some lucky person driving home in a cool 1971 candy apple red Camaro. 2021 MCACN Show Updates; As you know, we had to cancel the 2020 show due to the State of Illinois and Governor Pritzkers restrictions for indoor events. Not to worry, as we have jumped right into planning for our 2021 show, which will take place November 20-21, 2021. In addition to the special displays we announced for the 2020 show that we will carry over, we have added several additional Invitational and Special displays. There is no doubt in my mind that we will have our best show to date, and certainly the most diversified. Whether you prefer G.M., Ford, Mopar or even AMC or Studebaker Muscle, we will have the bases covered! Nearly all of the 300+ people that had already registered cars for the 2020 show have "rolled over" their entries to join us in 2021, (THANKS!) and we have opened registration for next year. This means we are already filling the show and without a doubt will be sold out waaaaaay in advance. To request Pre-Approval for your car, send pictures and information to bashton426@gmail.com. Morris Show & Swap MCACN Specials; I will be set up in swap spaces 51-54 Sunday for the car show, and bringing in some past event T-Shirts and also our Johnny Lightning 2018 and 2019 Official Event Cars. We sell the T-shirts for $15 each or 2/25, but if you mention this E-mail, you can snag them for just $10 each. We have Small, Medium, XXL and a few XXXL's and kids sizes, but sorry, no Large or XL. These are leftovers from past shows, so when they are gone, they're gone! Our Johnny Lightning Official Event Cars are $10 each, so don't get ripped off on eBay or pay shipping charges, get them right from the source!
Website Updates; We have updated our Features Page and also added several photo galleries from the 2019 show. We will continue to do updates, so check in periodically as we are working each and every day in preparation for our 2021 show! Official Host Hotel contracts have been signed and direct booking links will be added soon.

NEWS FLASH; We are working on a MCACN Northwest VIRTUAL SHOW. This online only event will take place directly from The Brothers Collection Museum. We are hammering out the details now, but expect to see many of the MCACN Exclusive features you expect. This will include several Premier Unveilings, examples of cars you will see in our 2021 Invitational and Special displays, special Guest Appearances and way more than I can list here. Who is up for a Viewing Party?
