Walworth, Wis. – Nov. 16, 2021 – Mecum Auctions is set to showcase a selection of featured Mecum Kissimmee 2022 consignments when power and speed convene at the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals (MCACN) this Nov. 20-21 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
Each year, MCACN provides the ultimate gathering place for automotive enthusiasts of all ages who share a passion for horsepower by hosting an indoor showcase not only for the cars that have become an integral part of collectors’ lives, but to also provide a place for enthusiasts to revive past memories and friendships while opening the door to many new ones as well.
Mecum Kissimmee 2022 consignments slated to be on display at MCACN include:
1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 “Gulf One” (Lot R384)—The most successful production racing Corvette of the C2 era
1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06/N03 Split Window Coupe (Lot R616)—Bloomington Gold Certified and the recipient of an NCRS Top Flight Award
1965 Shelby Factory Stage III 289 Cobra Dragonsnake (Lot R308)—One of just five factory-built 289 Cobra Dragonsnakes
1966 Chevrolet Corvette Pilot Line L88 (Lot R653)—The first known purpose-built Corvette factory race car resulting from a collaboration between Zora Arkus-Duntov and Luigi Chinetti of NART
1969 Dodge Daytona (Lot R423)—One of 503 Dodge Daytonas produced in 1969 and showing just 6,360 believed-original miles
1970 Chevrolet El Camino LS6 (Lot R629)—Restored to original factory specifications and featuring an original, rebuilt LS6 454/450 HP V-8
1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 (Lot S69.1)—A factory Triple Black W-30 hardtop showing 32,023 miles and featuring its original drivetrain
1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 (Lot S70)—Featuring its original drivetrain, showing 38,230 miles and finished in correct, special-order Rally Red
1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible (Lot R383.1)—One of 14 produced in total and one of just nine produced with an automatic transmission
Coming from the Mecum Gallery, the 1965 Ford GT Competition Prototype Roadster known as GT/109, the only GT Roadster with Le Mans racing history, will also be on display at MCACN. Mecum Auctions will additionally unveil another featured consignment for Mecum Kissimmee 2022 at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Car Capsule booth (#2062).
