MUCH MORE THAN JUST CARS...BE SURE TO BRING THE KIDS!

The MCACN team is so excited to be back at it, and believe me, we will be making up for the "lost" year! While we have been telling you about many of the cars and special displays we have in store for you, today we'd like to tell you about some of the other activities and things to see that aren't cars.

One point I really want to drive home is that the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show has all kinds of family friendly activities, for kids of all ages. And best of all, they are all FREE, as is admission for kids, 12 and under. We will NEVER charge admission for kids, as we truly believe that they are the future of our hobby!

HAGERTY "OPERATION IGNITE" YOUTH JUDGING: What could be better than allowing kids to have a "backstage pass" and to learn about how the judging process works? Hagerty Insurance is the Official Host for this program, where kids get a hands-on chance to meet some awesome owners, sit in some great cars and learn why we are so passionate about the hobby. They will then pick winners and present them with a special award. You can Pre-Register for this now to guarantee a spot by clicking here:  This is limited so that every registered kid can directly participate. If we have any openings Saturday morning, you can sign up at the Hagerty display near the INFO booth. All about having fun!

KIDS SCAVENGER HUNTKids 14 and under - can go to the INFO BOOTH  to pick up their game card and the first item on the list given by Mecum Auctions.  Follow the "map" to visit our awesome participating Official Sponsors. They have really cool prizes that include die-cast cars, posters, and more...seriously cool stuff!
When they have "found" the items on the list, they can go to the kids area and fill out the bottom of their game card to enter a drawing for a Roblox, Minecraft or Apple Gift Card!

KIDS ZONE IN THE CENTER HALL: This is where we have all kinds of fun stuff...and some seats for Dad and Mom to relax! Coloring contest, casual "old school" Hot Wheels racing, our Auto World Model Car make and take and NEW this year, a really cool Auto World slot car track setup!

AUTO WORLD MODEL CAR MAKE AND TAKE: This has become a real hot spot! Again, totally FREE, our friends at Auto World supply a really cool model car kit to build right at the show. Our Make and Take team, led by Charlie K. are onsite to assist in the build if you like, or just kick back and build it yourself! When you are done, take it home!

AUTO WORLD SLOT CAR RACING: *NEW* Once again, our friends at Auto World have stepped up by supplying one of their awesome H/O race tracks. Remember when we used to do that? Well...step back in time and introduce the kids to this fun hobby.

MUSCLE BIKE AND MINI BIKE "SHOWS WITHIN THE SHOW" OK, so these may not be just for the kids. How many of us caught the wheeled wonder bug by riding bikes and mini bikes? I know I did, and today Ian and I have amassed a collection of...well let's just say quite a few! Show your kids what a Sting-Ray is and explain why we don't have those shifters on the top bar anymore! This year we will also be spotlighting a row of Vintage Girls Muscle Bicycles, which happen to be owned by my 12 year old Granddaughter, Emily, and also some 80's and 90's BMX bikes. And for those who prefer their small wheels to be powered instead of peddled, check out the cool vintage Mini-Bikes, including a show stopper that burned up the car show circuit back in the 70's; a true timepiece! Sponsored by Koolestuff.

GHOSTBUSTERS "Ecto-1" Cadillac: Again, perhaps not just for the kids but certainly fun for everyone. Loren Baldwin's "Ecto-1" is spot-on, complete with all kinds of working features, flashing lights and more. You'll see this right in the main lobby, along with members of the Windy City Ghostbusters! Special Thanks go out to Loren and the Windy City Ghostbusters for joining us.

AND THEN...While not "kid" related, we also have our awesome MX Motorcycle display with prime examples of vintage MX bikes from the Jeff Schwartz Collection. These represent the absolute best of the best and Jeff has a whole new round for his "Dirty Dozen" display. But wait..there's more! This year we are adding a half dozen vintage High Performance SNOWMOBILES to the mix. YES... they are all performance machines, so be sure to check out the Muscle Snowmobiles this year!

As you can imagine, we are really pumped up and so excited to be able to return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (SUBURBAN Chicago) Illinois. The show takes place Saturday, November 20, from 9 am - 8 pm and Sunday, November 21, from 9 am - 5 pm. It's been too long and we can't wait to see everyone again.

Safe Travels and please be safe and Be Nice.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING WHAT WE DO AND PLEASE JOIN US. HELP US SPREAD THE WORD BY TELLING ANYONE AND EVERYONE THAT THE SHOW IS ON!!

NOTE: While we generally don't "repeat" cars that have been shown with us previously, when the owner of what many consider the ultimate and VERY REAL Ford 1966 GT40 asks to return, we jump on the opportunity. Rex says he had so much fun with us in 2019, he wanted to return with the Alan Mann aluminum body GT40 race car, shown above. Since it always had people 2-3 deep around it when he was with us, many didn't get to see it, This year this multi-million dollar rarity will be right in our main lobby, so that everyone gets a chance to check it out. THANK YOU, REX!
