Carlisle Chrysler Nationals THIS WEEK
We often say we work with the best of the best, and we really do. That applies not only to the truly outstanding cars (and bicycles!) and the owners we host, but also with our automotive related only vendors and of course, our Official Sponsors. Reliable Carriers is our Official Transporter, Mecum Auctions our Title Sponsor and of course Carlisle Events is another that we are honored to work with. With a busy schedule producing events in both Pennsylvania and Florida nearly every month, their marque specific events draw thousands...and they do it right.
This week we trek to Pennsylvania for the 33rd Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. Last year they broke their record with over 3,000 cars and the swap was so big, they expanded it into the Car Corral area! And believe me, they covered the bases; all kinds of Muscle, both vintage and modern, classics from days gone by, finned fifties beauties, vans, trucks and well..you get the idea. And the swap is huge with row after row of treasures. Add several buildings with special feature displays and you have all the makings of a truly outstanding event. Best of all, the Mopar loyal are passionate and enthusiastic and love to share the stories.
Event Manager Ed Buczeskie is one of the hardest working and devoted car guys out there. You can tell he loves doing what he does and is working year round making sure the show is better every year. We really look forward to this one, and always find some great cars to invite to MCACN!
I don't have a booth in Carlisle, as there is so much ground to cover I can be more productive on foot. Look for me and let me tell you what we have in store for the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show this year. Whether you want to talk about Mopars or any other brand, I can assure you we have something that will light your fire! I'll hit the ground running first thing Friday morning and be one of the last to leave Sunday.

HOTEL UPDATE: As you know, we work hard to make sure we can accommodate not only our participants, but our spectators too. We have SEVEN Official Host Hotels, with five of them being right across the street from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. Remember...we are in ROSEMONT, (NOT Chicago!) which is 30 minutes from downtown Chicago in a nice suburban setting. Everything you need is within walking distance and the Rosemont Entertainment District has bowling, a beautiful theater, indoor sky diving, a multitude of bars and restaurants and of course, the 130+ store outlet mall is just a few blocks away.
