Celebrating the 55th Anniversary For The 1969.5 440-6 Super Bee and Roadrunners! 🎉
Back in 2019 the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals had the honor of hosting the final stop for the 50th Anniversary celebration for the almighty Mopar 440-6 Pack Super Bees and 440-6 Barrel Roadrunners. Was there ever a more outrageous Muscle Car? With the fiberglass, pinned-on lift off hoods, the trio of Holley carbs and who could forget...the 15" steel wheels sans hubcaps, well they certainly made a bold statement! And do they ever run! Among the quickest factory built Muscle Cars of the era, they have the look and they back it up with 440 cubic inches of Mopar Muscle.

In 2019 we filled an entire room with nearly 40 of these beasts. Some were restored to perfection, some were drag cars and some were well used. We had nearly every color and even the one and only Floral Top Super Bee joined us. And what made it even better were the enthusiastic and knowledgeable owners. A great time was had by all.
So this year we will commemorate the 55th Anniversary by being the final stop in the A12 Reunion Tour, Hosted by the Lift-Off Hood Playground and the A12 Registry. The tour kicks off May 31-Jun 2, 2024 at the Midwest Mopars in the Park Show in Stillwater, MN. Then our friends and Official Sponsor Carlisle Events will host a stop in July and for our friends north of the border will host a celebration in August at the Moparfest in New Hamburg, Ontario. And the grand finale...MCACN, November 23-24. Of course, we will have everything inside, so if weather is a factor for you, rest assured it won't be raining or snowing inside the beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (SUBURBAN Chicago), Illinois. We are hoping to have even more A12's this year, so if you own one (MUST be real; no "clones" or tributes!) we'd love to have you join us. And to keep it interesting, we want to see fully restored beauties, unrestored gems, cars that are raced and even ones that may be not so pretty. If it's real, we invite you to join us! We had participants from over 20 states and Canada in 2019, so please plan on joining us.
