Holiday Weekend and Gearing Up for Muscle Car Meetup at Gilmore Museum!

While Memorial Day means many things, including the "kickoff" to summer car shows and cruising, it is also a time to remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice. It is easy to forget why we celebrate this weekend. So no matter what you, your family and friends plan for the long weekend, let's all take a moment to pause and reflect on the incredible sacrifices that have been made on America's behalf, so that we can also enjoy the things (and people!) we love.

MUSCLE CAR MEETUP; You're Invited! One of our favorite ways to kick off the summer car show season is by heading out to the fantastic Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan for our Annual
Muscle Car Meetup, Presented by MCACN, Saturday, June 22. If you ever needed another reason to head out to one of our favorite car museums, allow us to give it to you! In our first couple years serving as
Official Host for this event, we welcomed hundreds of great cars with an emphasis on Factory Muscle of all generations.

This year we will have a very special "reserved" area surrounding the MCACN tent for past and future participants of the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show. We have had the honor of having past MCACN participants join us from across the country and Canada, and we are ready to do it again. Ken Nagel, Bruce Arenson, Jeff Stolowski, Dave Arendt, Ed and Brian Sobczyk, the Kultgen Family, Dean Herron and of course, the Straub Family have already signed up, and we will also have a group of Pure Stock Drag cars, coordinated by Donny Brass this year.
And for anyone that may have missed it at the show, I stashed a few of the awesome Adrianna posters, which she will be signing in the MCACN tent while limited supplies last! That alone creates the basis for a stellar and very diversified lineup and plenty of reasons to join us, with or without your car. Now...if you have shown with us at MCACN in the past or are joining us for the first time this year, this is your personal invitation, so please plan on joining us.
Here is a summary and the schedule from the Gilmore Car Museum website:
The central show field of the Gilmore Car Museum campus will be reserved for a MCACN exhibit, and an exclusive “outdoor feature display space” for only MCACN-invited special and notable muscle cars, and their owners. It should serve as a unique and picturesque display opportunity on the Gilmore’s green lawns, surrounded by its towering red barns and classic 1941 diner.

The event is designed to be fun, with no formal judging. We will present a variety of Special Pick awards, from the MCACN team, Gilmore staff and management, celebrities and others. The emphasis is on fun, sharing stories and supporting an absolutely must see museum.

Now that is a deal! In addition to the car show, we will have several seminars, live music, a variety of food and drink options and new this year is an Automotive Art display, Hosted by our good friend Steven Macy. And of course, we will be bringing out a few of our Vintage Muscle Bicycles too, so if you have one (or more) please bring them out for display! 100% of all proceeds goes directly to the Gilmore Car Museum and Muscle Car related activities and displays.
We will have prizes too!
