 Dennis Collins to Appear at the MCACN Show


There is no doubt that in the world of "reality" television and YouTube shows, there is a whole lot of  garbage out there. I mean, do we really want to see shop employees throw parts, yell at each other or spew their vast "knowledge" which is often not even close to being correct? I am sure we can all agree that while this may be entertaining to some in a weird way, I'm not sure it is doing any good for our hobby.


Enter Dennis Collins. While it was never his plan to become a YouTube star, Dennis has certainly earned acclaim. As a true enthusiast, he got his start with Jeeps as Co-owner of Collins Bros Jeeps in Dallas, Texas. Born out of a love for all things Jeep related, including their own line of premium Jeep accessories known as Black Mountain Jeep Parts and Accessories, they offer a wide variety of affordable accessories and even complete custom Jeeps, built to order.


From his website Dennis Collins or "Denny" as his closest friends call him, has somehow managed to maximize his own "cool factor" over the years and turn his own faux city carpet rug into the real life city of Dallas, TX (and beyond). Holding degrees from the University of Texas in Economics and Finance, Dennis quickly realized owning his own business is the smarter choice and began a journey in outfitting Jeeps with Parts and Servicing them in his own shop; Collins Bros Jeep, established in 1984. With Jeep as his primary business, Classic Cars never fell far behind, because for every Jeep sold or serviced in his shop, a classic car finds a new home due to Dennis' knack for locating rare, low mileage, classic beauties and selling them to those who desire them.


Of course, you may know Dennis from his cool weekly YouTube Coffee Walk series. Dennis travels the country in search of collector cars. His adventures have uncovered some pretty amazing finds and it isn't uncommon for him to buy an entire fleet from a single person. Recently Dennis scored NINE Corvettes in one sweep. His passion and enthusiasm really shows, and he maintains a pretty amazing and exceptionally diverse personal collection. He loves "Barn Finds" but some very notable exotics grace his garage. Over the years he has owned everything from a fresh from the field '48 pickup to multi-million dollar Ferraris. And yes...there is plenty of American Muscle!


In 2023 Dennis joined us for the very first time. While he was aware of what we do, it was clear that he had no idea just how cool the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show really is. He brought along a cameraman just in case, and he joined MCACN Member Colin Comer for a tour through the show. It's pretty cool when you can clearly see he was blown away. Well, last year he was unable to join us (his daughter got married on our weekend!) but we are pleased to announce Dennis will be with us all weekend this year, and he is bringing in his full crew to capture the excitement.

We are all excited to see the days are getting longer and with any luck, the temperature will be climbing, let's not forget that it is never too soon to lock in your plans for the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, November 22-23. I mean, can you believe it has already been nearly 5 months since our 2024 show? We already have over 250 cars registered and more are being confirmed nearly every day. Several of our Invitational displays are already full and Judging categories are filling at a rate faster than ever. If you are planning on showing with us, especially if you want your car judged, please send pics and information to bashton426@gmail.com for consideration and Pre-Approval. Same space vendor registration ends 4-15 and again this year, we are tracking ahead in vendor returns. (Thank You!).

Honored to be known as "The Center of the Muscle Car Universe" and excited to return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (SUBURBAN Chicago), Illinois. We will again fill nearly 400,000 square feet with well over 500 of the absolute best of the best and the rarest of the rare in American Muscle and Corvettes.
