Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of
Shelby American in Dearborn, Michigan
For many of us Memorial Day is the kick-off to summer fun. Backyard bar-b-q's, bike riding, sitting by the firepit, perhaps some time at the lake or...car shows!
This weekend the MCACN team is excited to start our celebration of the Anniversary of Shelby American with the SAAC 50th Anniversary Show & Go, May 24 & 25 at the Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. While we have big plans to commemorate this momentous occasion at MCACN in November, (stay tuned!) this Sunday we will be joining in the fun to spread the word about the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, November 22-23.
Activities for this weekend kick off Saturday, May 24 with a cool Cruise and Banquet while Sunday, May 25 brings us to Ford World Headquarters for the Show & Go, along with a swap meet. We will be set up closer to the Pre-94 cars in the swap area, so we hope you'll stop by to get the latest MCACN updates. Look for our MCACN logo'd EZ-Up, you can't miss it!
We will be offering some MCACN "Super Specials" Sunday on past event T-shirts, and Yes...we have some of the Shelby specific shirts. Best part is we have nearly every size available, from kiddos to 4 XL's for just $10 each! We will also have a limited amount of our Auto World 1971 Mustang Mach I Official MCACN Event Cars with a Super Special and exclusive SAAC Special Offer that is so cheap we aren't going to publish it here! Mecum Indy; Congrats go out to our Title Sponsor Mecum Auctions for another great Original Spring Classic. We saw many of our "regulars" expand their collections with some great cars you have seen at previous MCACN shows. We saw several that you will see at MCACN this year! It was also good to see that each and every car and bike from the John Kraman Collection did really good, and I'm sure JK's legacy will always be a part of the history. And now it's time for the Greatest Spectacle in Racing..The Indy 500, which is also taking place on Sunday!

Pure Stock Exhibition Race, May 30th and 31st cancelled. Unfortunately, this new event that was scheduled for May 30-31 has been cancelled. From coordinator Donnie Brass;
Milan Dragway has informed us that the track will not be ready for our event. We are contemplating another date and will keep you posted. I want to thank the Milan staff, who have been great to work with and have kept us updated throughout the process. Thanks to all the racers and fans who planned to attend.
