Revved up for Dana Mecums 39th Original Spring Classic
May brings a whole lot of excitement to the Indianapolis area. Of course, the entire month is jam-packed with racing action culminating in the Indy 500, but that's not the only place that engines are revving up! Over at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Dana Mecum and his team have over 3,000 vehicles crossing the block. This is always a highlight of the year for any Muscle Car fanatic, as this really is where American Muscle and so much more trades hands. And in addition to the cars and trucks, there is all kinds of awesome Road Art.
The diversity this year is absolutely amazing. Whether you are looking to get into the hobby or expand your collection, they have the bases covered. A few highlights; the Trio of unrestored original 396 Big-Block Corvettes you saw at the recent MCACN show right up front. Talk about a rare opportunity! And they are being offered with No Reserve. And if you've been dreaming of adding a '69 ZL1 Camaro to your collection, there is yet another exceptionally rare opportunity. And speaking of Camaro's we will be introducing another brand new Official Sponsor for the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals, Mr. Auto Body, who is offering an entire group of Z/28's in a variety of colors, and all as fresh as can be. Of course, if your tastes trend more toward exotics, whether vintage or newer, this is an auction you won't want to miss. You know what happened out in Kissimmee in January, and Dana and his team have even more of the most desirable Ferraris ever to cross an auction block this week. And that is just the beginning. Mopars, Boss Mustangs and Shelbys, Prime GTO's and even some very cool AMC's and Studebakers are on the docket. And how about a motorcycle? Over 100 are crossing the block, from Honda Mini-Trails to wild Harleys!
We will be spreading the word about the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, November 21-22, with a MCACN display Thursday-Saturday. And as always, we have a LOT to talk about!
