Bloomington Gold, the
Granddaddy of Corvette Shows
There is no doubt that
Bloomington Gold has truly earned
the name “The
Granddaddy of Corvette Shows” and we are excited to be a part of all
of the
action. The show kicks off Thursday, June 22 and culminates
Saturday, June
24. Believe me when I say, you need to be there all three days to
take it
in. Along with the huge show, Corvette certification and Survivor
judging,
there is the Special Collection featuring the 1967 model year, a
large swap
meet and also indoor vendors, the Gold Tour, a variety of seminars,
the Gold
Mine car for sale area and even the opportunity to drive your own
Corvette
on the Indy track. Yes, the event takes place at the legendary
Indianapolis
Motor Speedway, which is reason enough to attend. Whether you are
showing
your Corvette, looking for parts or coming out to see what we are up
to at MCACN, this is an absolute must do event for the whole family.
Here is what
they say about this event; "Bloomington Gold Corvettes is the longest running
all Corvette event in the country and is attended by well over 30,000 people
each year. Bloomington Gold is recognized world wide among car owners for
its prestigious judging process of Corvettes and the authentication a
Bloomington Gold Certification brings to a Corvette. In addition to judging,
Bloomington Gold offers attendees three days of fun filled events including
fast laps, autocross, laps on the Iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway and
more!"
The 2017 Event will run June 22-24 and will once again be held at the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Bloomington Gold IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
We will have a nice display on the main aisle in Garage 22, (GG 22) so look
for the MCACN banner above our garage. Of course, we will be accepting
applications for our
Corvette Central Triple Diamond display and competition
and looking for prime examples for our Corvette Legends Invitational
display, Sponsored by
Dr. Pete Gimenez. And as always, I’ll be
looking for outstanding Corvettes for other areas of the Muscle Car and
Corvette Nationals show, whether you have a Barn Find/Hidden Gem or other
prime Corvette. C’mon by our garage to apply, as we are filling faster than
ever! We have a limited amount of vendor space available for automotive
related vendors only, and will be signing up vendors as well.
At the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals, we have had the opportunity to
host some of the finest Corvettes in the country and again this year, you
will see a whole new group of the absolute “best of the best.” We have some
prime race cars, several one-offs and I can assure you, many that are rarely
if ever shown in public. C’mon by and see what we’re up to for the 2017 show
and let us know what you would like to show.
The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is the world’s largest all indoor
specialty show devoted to Muscle Cars, Dealer-built Supercars and the finest
and rarest Corvettes. We will fill nearly 400,000 square feet of exhibit
space at the beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont,
(suburban Chicago), Illinois. The show has been dubbed “The Pebble Beach of
Muscle Cars” and we will host well over 500 cars along with 200+ all
automotive vendor spaces. The show takes place Saturday, November 18, from 9
am – 9 pm and Sunday, November 19, from 9 am – 5 pm. Please consider joining
us and be sure to bring the whole family, as we have all kinds of stuff to
do and see.
