Hodge Restorations Out Of South Carolina

Join Our Fine Family Of Official Sponsors

If you are among the Mopar faithful, you probably know Le Hodge. As the owner of Hodge Restorations in Inman, South Carolina, he is well known for the many fine restorations that have emerged from his shop. While they may not be the biggest, they certainly have established themselves in an incredibly competitive market. With over 20 years of experience and multiple national awards along with countless magazine features, Le is one to watch.

Le has shown some great cars with us at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show over the years. You'll probably remember his own "Lil Thirsty" 69.5 A12 Super Bee and last year he showed a gorgeous '70 440-6 Pack Code 999 paint Gunmetal Super Bee that stole the show and was also featured in a recent issue of Mopar Collectors Guide. Le has shown a variety of others over the years and each and every one has been a show stopper. There is no doubt that he is passionate about not just Mopars, but quality and an incredible amount of attention to detail.

While Le and his crew have been somewhat low-key for the past several years, that will all change this year. Plans are well underway to present several high-profile Mopars that you probably don't even know about. Being in the heart of Mopar Country, (actually near Cotton Owens home!) he has a knack for finding off the radar cars and bringing them back to their former glory. Make a point of checking out the Hodge Restorations display this year in the "big room" and talk to Le. Passion, enthusiasm and knowledge along with a commitment to be among the nest...that is what he is all about.

NATIONAL PRINT COVERAGE: While the industry may be pushing to kill print magazines, I still feel that there is nothing better than sitting back in "the big chair" and perusing a new issue of one of my favorite car magazines. Yes, many have become nothing but a memory but there are still plenty of good old fashioned real paper magazines out there! We have been getting some great coverage of the 2023 show and we will be posting these features on our website asap. Our friends at Mopar Collectors Guide recently dropped yet another issue that is entirely devoted to cars from the MCACN show floor while Hemmings Muscle Machines has a big feature in the new April issue. Don Keefe continues to support what we do with his outstanding Poncho Perfection magazine with another awesome full feature in the February issue. Then we have the new issues of Turning Wheels and the Avanti magazine, who both did a great job covering our cool Studebaker Legends display. Then we have Old Cars Weekly, with several full features, thanks to our good friend Al Rogers. Pay attention to these guys, as they are actually expanding their print efforts in every way! Then we have Chicago's own Wicked magazine, which took over where LEDFOOT News left off, with a cool feature in their November/December issue. And there are others and more to come, including V8 Passion out of Quebec and Bone Stock Muscle Cars from Canada. And of course, please show your support for these publications by subscribing.

PICTURES/PICTURES/PICTURES! If you are joining us this year and would like to see your car in print, online or maybe even replicated in die-cast, we need good clear pictures. It is amazing how many truly outstanding cars we have joining us that send us...well, lousy pictures! We always use only actual cars that are being shown with us for a number of promotional materials,(postcards, ads, magnets, flyers) in our own 84 page MCACN magazine and online. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words and of course, we want to give everyone as much credit as possible for joining us and for potential spectators, as many reasons as possible to actually see our show, so PLEASE send us good quality pictures and as many as you can to bashton426@gmail.com.  And, when you see I am going to be at a show and you are there with your approved/entered car, let me know as I always carry my trusty Nikon with me!
