CARTECH BOOKS TO HOST LINDA VAUGHN AT THE
MCACN SHOW!
When it comes to notable ladies in the World
of Motorsports,
Linda Vaughn will always be at the top
of the list. Certainly one of the most loved and
recognized people in our hobby, there is no denying
that many of us had posters of Lovely Linda on the
wall! With her big smile and extremely approachable
demeanor, she has brought smiles to many generations
of Race and Muscle Car enthusiasts for many years.
In late October, a brand new book titled
The First Lady of Motorsports, Linda Vaughn
will be released by
CarTech Books. Now this book is special,
because it is actually written by Linda along
with Rob Kinnan. You know there are going to be some
great stories, and the list of contributors is like
the who’s who of Motorsports. It includes Don Garlits,
Danica Patrick, George Follmer, Shirley Muldowney, Don
Prudhomme, Mario Andretti and our good friend Courtney
Hansen, to name just a few. (and YES...Courtney will
be joining us at MCACN this year too!)
We have had the honor of hosting Linda at MCACN
several times since our inception. Remember when she
climbed up onto the big platform on the back of

We are pleased to announce our friends at
CarTech will be bringing her back to our show
to give hugs and sign her new book. Linda will be in
the Car Tech Books display in the “big”
room, both Saturday and Sunday along with Rob Kinnan.
And to make things even better, they will also be
bringing in additional authors, which we will
talk about in the upcoming months. Thanks go out
to Wes Eisenschenk and the entire CarTech Books crew for
making this happen. Additional authors along with
signing times will be announced soon and posted on our
website, so stay tuned!
We will be attending
Dana Mecum’s 29th Original Spring Classic
Auction in Indianapolis May 17-21 with an
onsite display to talk about MCACN. Dana tells us they
have just a few more openings for
consignments, so if you have a prime example of
American Muscle you are considering selling, call

if you are in the market to buy, the Spring Classic is

Planning for the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show has kicked into high gear. Car entries are coming in faster than ever, and once again, the quality of the entries will allow us to continue to “raise the bar” as I often say. We are already close to sold out of Commercial “A” (big room) space. Please don’t hesitate to submit your car entry or sign up for your automotive related only vendor space. We are always looking for the best of the best and the rarest of the rare, whether they fit into one of our special displays or not, so let’s hear about what you have. We are entering our 8th year now, and it gets better every year!

The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is the world’s
largest all indoor specialty show devoted to the
finest examples of American Muscle and the best and
rarest Corvettes. We will again fill nearly 400,000
square feet of exhibit space at the beautiful Donald
E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (suburban
Chicago), Illinois, just minutes from the Chicago
O’Hare Airport. The show will take place Saturday,
November 19, from 9 am – 9 pm, and Sunday, November 20,
from 9 am – 5 pm. See over 500 prime cars, nearly 100
Muscle Bicycles and over 200 automotive
related (only) vendor spots filling the building to
