Muscle Cars At The Strip Countdown!
Over the next few months, we kick into high gear spreading the word about
the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show at events across the
country, and right around the corner. In a few weeks, I am heading west to
hit the big Muscle Cars at the Strip event in Las Vegas. Formerly known as
Mopars at the Strip, our friend Phil Painter witnessed what we were doing in
Chi-town and listened to plenty of requests, and decided to open the gates
to all makes of American Muscle. Of course, there will be plenty of Mopars
of all eras, but now you can see a variety of makes and models, both on the
show field and on the track. Yep, plan on seeing Chevelles, Mustangs, GTO’s,
Shelby’s, Corvettes and much more along with the ‘cuda’s, Roadrunners,
Chargers and other Mopars!
Along with a huge show field and non stop racing, this year you will be able
to witness the final run with Bob Riggle blasting the Hemi Under Glass down
the track, along with a very special guest appearance by Jay Leno. Now if
you’ve been paying attention, you may know what happened the last time Bob
ran the Hemi Under Glass down the track! With Jay Leno riding along, things
took an unexpected turn for the worse and to quote R&T Online, “Jay Leno's
"Hemi Under Glass" Wheelie Went About as Wrong as Possible”. Now that’s an
understatement! The results can be seen here. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen again.
In addition to the cars, drag racing, the autocross, a huge swap and a
manufacturers midway, Phil and his team also host full on rock concerts at
the Official Host Hotel, The Cannery Hotel & Casino. Saturday night the
featured band is Bostyx, with Led Zepagain playing Friday. Nothing but fun,
all weekend long, and I can’t wait. For full information, check out

Registration is open now, and we highly recommend this event, whether you

The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is the world’s largest all indoor
specialty show devoted to Muscle Cars, Dealer-built Supercars and the finest
and rarest Corvettes. We will fill nearly 400,000 square feet of exhibit
space at the beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont,
(suburban Chicago), Illinois, just minutes from the Chicago O’Hare Airport.
The show will take place Saturday, November 18, from 9 am – 9 pm and Sunday,
November 19, from 9 am – 5 pm. Please plan on joining us to see why Muscle
