Chryslers at Carlisle; It's On!
Every summer I spend a lot of time attending events across the country to spread to word about the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show coming up Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22. One of my favorites is the huge Chryslers at Carlisle event in Pennsylvania. In addition to being one of our MCACN Official Sponsors, the Carlisle Events team knows how to put on a great event. Utilizing nearly all of the 80+ acres at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, they have had nearly 3,000 cars over the past few years at this event, along with row after row of swap spaces and a great midway. And this weekend, if it is Mopar related, you will most likely find it, whether it is a car or a part! Like us, they are celebrating the 1970 model year with special displays featuring the 50th Anniversary. Rest assured you will see all kinds of Superbirds, Chargers, Challengers, 'cuda's, Dusters and well...you get the idea!
In addition to the cars, the Carlisle Events folks host a variety of free seminars, have some great special guests including Cristy Lee and David Rea this year, and the awesome Survivors tent, packed with unrestored examples of Chrysler's finest. Always a few unexpected treasures in there! The event opens up Friday, July 10 at 7am and continues through Sunday. I'll be hitting town Thursday night and walking every aisle, so look me up!

Everything you need is actually within walking distance, making Rosemont the perfect place for what we do. Car Entry; We are accepting applications now for prime factory muscle cars and the finest Corvettes. Priority is always given to cars that have not been shown with us previously or at other Chicago area events. We are committed to keeping our show fresh for our spectators! If you have a great car, whether restored or just a prime example of American Muscle, even if it is not restored, (but REAL), please consider joining us. Although many of our special displays are already full, we are specifically looking for some unusual Cobra Jet Fords and Mercurys. several colors for our Challenger T/A and AAR 'cuda Invitational display, and some Barn Finds and Hidden Gems. Of course, if you have a Corvette that is a candidate for our Corvette Central Triple Diamond display and competition, we hope you'll join us. To submit your entry, click here;

We had a great holiday weekend and I personally am loving the heat. I am anxious to get out there to talk about what we have in store for MCACN this year and in addition to the Carlisle event this weekend, I will be at Dana Mecum's Spring Classic in Indianapolis next week and the Mopar Nationals in the Columbus area, August 7-9.
