Creating A MUST SEE Event For You and Your Family

When we launched the inaugural Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show back in 2009, the primary goal was to create the absolute best show catering to the most sought after examples of pure American Muscle. Whether that Muscle wears a Pentastar, a Blue Oval, a Bow Tie or any other instantly recognized emblem, we remain committed to making sure that when you leave the MCACN show, you are fulfilled and excited about this awesome hobby of ours. Passion is a word I often use, and sharing our passion is what it is all about.

But it isn't all massively overpowered cars at MCACN, as we have added some really neat and super fun Non-Automotive features over the years to give you even more reasons to join us, when we return to the beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (suburban Chicago), Illinois, November 20-21, 2021.

Muscle BICYCLES: Anyone who knows me knows that I have been an avid (or is that out of control!) Bicycle collector. Like many of us, it started when I saw that very first ad for a Schwinn Orange Krate in my Boys Life magazine back in 1968. While my parents weren't quite ready to step up to the massive $86.95 price, I did get a beautiful blue DeLuxe Sting-Ray for my 8th birthday. And from there, the seed was planted. Again this year, we are pleased to present our "Show within the Show" featuring Muscle Bicycles, Sponsored by Koolestuff. Sting-Rays, Krates, Sears Screamers, Ross Barracuda's, Raleigh Choppers; you'll see them all and a lot more! If you have a vintage Muscle Bike, please consider joining us. Oh...and again to expand on the fun, we will be adding a group of vintage BMX bicycles this year to make it even more interesting and fun.

Mini Bikes: Who doesn't get a smile on their face when you see a kid (or an Adult!) riding a Mini Bike? This is where it started for many of us, and to this day, sharing the fun of a Mini Bike is something we all should experience. Sponsored by Koolestuff, this display will include Honda Mini Trails and Trail 70's, a variety of Rupp, Ruttman and Lil Indians and even a few custom rides that will really take you back in time. If you have a vintage Mini Bike, please consider joining us.

Moto-Cross Special Display, Presented by Jeff Schwartz: Our good friend and Living Legend Award recipient Jeff Schwartz of Schwartz Performance has one of the finest collections of vintage Moto-Cross motorcycles in the world. In fact, he has so many, he can display a different "Dirty Dozen" every year for years to come, without duplication. Being a guy who restores MX bikes on his kitchen table, Jeff gets it and loves showing them with us.

Performance Snowmobiles; Whaaaaat? Yes, this is something new for us. While I am definitely not a fan of the cold, another aspect of High Performance in the 70's and 80's was offered to those willing to bundle up. This year we will host a group of High Performance Vintage Snowmobiles in the Ballroom/Awards area. How's that for keeping things interesting and unexpected!

Perhaps the best part of sharing your passion, whether it is on four wheels, two wheels or even in the snow, is expanding your knowledge. All of these special displays, or as I like to call them "Shows within the Show" offer a diversion from all of the four wheeled wonders we all love to see. It is all about having fun, rekindling memories and even better, stepping away from the laptops, Ipads, cell phones and all that stuff we are all immersed in.

MCACN Official Host Hotels: As expected, our FIVE Official Host Hotels are filling fast. We work hard to secure great rates and get you special perks and reduced rate parking, and all five are convenient to the show. These rates are available to ALL, whether you are a participant or a spectator! To read about all five to see which one best suits your needs and to book your rooms now, click here. The DoubleTree is always "Party Central" and the first to sell out, and The Embassy Suites has the largest rooms and I am pleased to announce the full made to order breakfast will be back!

Wishing you, your family and friends the best. We hope you are excited to get back out there...I know I am!

MAY COLLECTOR CAR FRAUD TIP

I BELIEVE”

I was looking at a 56 Thunderbird”s artistic ad placard – you know ,
the ones that could make you buy a tank over  a T bird!
Bullet #3 caught my attention – The owner “ Believes” the mileage is correct!
Gee, I wondered exactly why the owner “Believes” the mileage is correct
rather than the owner “knows” the mileage is correct?
The reason is simple – if he states he believes rather than he knows –
he is held to a significantly lower standard of truth in his statements if a problem arises.
Moral of the story – believe half of what you read!
