The Class of '67 Invitational, Presented by NCM Insurance
There is no doubt that many consider the years 1970 and 1971 as pinnacle years for American Muscle, but those aren't the only great years. Let's take 1967 for example; Chevrolet and Pontiac entered the "Pony Car" market with the all new Camaro and Firebird, Dodge introduced the Coronet R/T while Plymouth launched the GTX, both with standard 440 cubic inch engines under the hood. And of course, the mighty 426 Hemi was readily available! Chevrolet pulled out all the stops for the last of the C2 Corvettes by offering not only the 427/435 horse multi-carb beast but also the incredible L/88. 442's and G.S. Buicks also became easier to find and you could have even won a GTO in the Thom McCann shoes promotion. Yes...'67 was a great year for Muscle, and we plan on celebrating with another cool Anniversary display at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals. And btw, we have one of the original Thom McCann GTO's joining us from Virginia for the Class of '67!
Plan on seeing an entire row of the hottest Camaro's and Firebirds and some prime Corvettes. Mother Mopar will be well represented, as we already have some beautiful R/T's and GTX's in both hardtop and convertible bodies. And let's not forget, Mercury also jumped into the Pony Car world with the Cougar! Then we have the RO and WO 426 Hemi Mopar's. While certainly not for the street, these purpose built Drag Racers are among the most sought after Mopar's ever built...and we have one being Unveiled this year, Saturday morning.
Our Anniversary Invitational displays are always a highlight of the show, and they certainly allow us to keep the show fresh and exciting. And as always, if you own a prime example of American Muscle from 1967 that is rarely (if ever!) shown, especially if it is a fresh restoration, we'd love to have you join us. VENDOR UPDATE: Previous vendor renewals are due April 1st for return vendors. A high percentage of our vendors return annually, (THANK YOU!) and we always sell out of vendor space, so don't hesitate to renew, or sign up as a NEW vendor. This is an awesome opportunity for your Automotive (ONLY!) related business. Our rates start at just $250 for a 10 x 12' Commercial "B" spot, and we may have limited availability in the "big" room after 4-1. Please note; we absolutely do NOT allow home improvement companies, travel agencies, cell phone companies, "Pull-Up" Challenges, head-set hawkers or other Non Automotive vendors. PLEASE DO NOT ASK if you are not automotive related! I recently attended another show, and was amazed when I was literally chased down the aisle by a representative of a Chiropractor,
not only once, but twice!

We are receiving car entries nearly every day. It isn't too early to lock in your entry, whether your car, (or Muscle Bicycle or Mini Bike) fits into one of our many special or Invitational displays or is a single car entry. If you'd like to Pre-Qualify to make sure your car will be accepted, send clear pictures and information to bashton426@gmail.com. Please note; We limit same car entries and also Judging to keep the show balanced, and many categories are already approaching "full" status.
