MCACN OFFICIAL HOST HOTELS; BOOK 'EM NOW!

So we've all heard it and we often think about it. Planning ahead is what I'm talking about. While we are all gearing up for some sunshine and lots of outdoor activities, the countdown is on for the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show. Yes indeed, we are now nearly halfway there, with MCACN just six months away!

While this may seem like an eternity, with all the "make-up" activities we are all jumping into, it is easy to lose track of time. So with that being said, THANKS to all of you that have already locked in your entries and vendor spots. We blew past the 300 cars entered mark several weeks ago, and entries are coming in faster than ever. Several of our special and Invitational displays are already completely full, and single car entries are at an all time high. Commercial "A" spots are nearly sold out and Commercial "B" is also tracking ahead. Whew...going to be another great year!

This eblast is a reminder that we work very hard to make sure we are able to accommodate you, whether you are a participant or a spectator in the easiest way possible. We have secured great rates and MCACN exclusive extra perks at SIX different hotels. Five of them are right across the street from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, and the sixth, (the aLoft) is a couple blocks away and offers free door to door shuttle service. Rates start at just $119.00 per night at the Crowne Plaza, and each and every one of our Official Host Hotels know what we do and look forward to having us. All offer reduced rate parking too!

As always, the DoubleTree is "party central" with nearly every room occupied by MCACN people. They have a Friday night kick-off party for registered guests and that is always a great way to meet and mingle, and of course, they are also the home of Gibsons Steak House, another popular MCACN hangout. The Embassy Suites also has a nightly reception, which of course has become a MCACN meet and greet, and with the included full breakfast, is the choice of many. Gotta love those omelets!

The Hilton and the Hyatt are both connected to the convention center via the overhead skywalk, so those of you who may want to avoid any colder weather certainly enjoy that! Then we have the aLoft, one of the newest and certainly the most modern of the six. And as mentioned, they offer door to door shuttle service.

And remember; we will NEVER call to solicit hotel business and these six hotels will never do that either. If someone tries, whether by phone or email, get rid of them as they ARE NOT authorized or representing MCACN in any way. Use the direct booking links on our website to guarantee the proper rates and to get the extra perks.

Another neat feature for ALL of these hotels is that they are right by the Rosemont Entertainment District, and the awesome 130+ store outlet mall. I have heard that some actually like to do things other than look at cars over the weekend, so with the mall, a bowling alley, a gorgeous theater, indoor skydiving and an incredible variety of bars and restaurants, all within walking distance, you will quickly understand why we have the show in Rosemont. And speaking of that, Rosemont is suburban Chicago, (NOT Chicago!) but for those who would like to hit the big city, it is a quick ride on the "L" or uber or taxi!

CAR ENTRY: If you are considering joining us with your prime example of American Muscle or your Corvette, please send pictures and information to bashton426@gmail.com to pre-qualify. YES...we are "picky" and priority is always given to cars that are rarely (or never!) shown. Our emphasis is always on the factory stock cars of the 60's and 70's, but occasionally we make exceptions for exceptional cars, especially this year with our Malaise Era Muscle Invitational and another new special display that we will be announcing soon.

Be safe and be nice!
