Inaugural MCACN Gilmore Museum Muscle Car Meetup Saturday!

Hopefully by now you know we have joined forces with the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan to create a super cool family friendly event this Saturday, June 25. While we have shared many of the things we have in store for you, I thought I'd toss out a few more reasons for you to join us. Fact is, seeing the Gilmore Museum alone is enough reason to make the trek, but we want to make this one a "no brainer" for everyone looking for a way to have a fun and relaxing day. First and foremost, we are geared up to host over 500 cars with the emphasis on Muscle Machines, both new and old. Nearly 100 people will be joining us with their cars for the MCACN special display area  alone, and that's just part of the show, and I'll be breaking out a half dozen of my own Muscle Bicycles, just for fun. (you can bring your bikes too!) So, allow me to give you another FIVE reasons to join us:

1. First Public Showing of The Exomod C68 Dodge Charger. Imagine combining the sleek lines of the second generation Charger with the most modern components, including a Hellcat suspension and drivetrain. But wait; add in a complete Carbon Fiber body! This thing is over the top, and we will be pulling the cover off at 9:30am.

2. Poster and Magazine Signing with MCACN Liaison Adrianna: Adrianna and her family are joining us with not just one, but two of their awesome cars, including the gorgeous '70 442 that they Unveiled with us at MCACN in November. We have a limited amount of past MCACN event posters featuring Adrianna, so get yours signed early!

3. Shelby Seminar with Brian Styles: Calling Brian a Shelby "Expert" is an understatement. In addition to being the co-owner with Samantha of the one and only 1967 Shelby GT-500 convertible that was Unveiled at MCACN, he lives and breathes all things Shelby, especially for the '67's. Brian will be sharing some of his vast knowledge in a presentation inside the museum at 1PM

4. LIVE MUSIC from Led Zeppelin 2. These guys are awesome! Close your eyes and listen...you may think you are back in the 70's at a Zeppelin concert! Led Zeppelin 2 will be performing from 2 pm - 4pm.

5. MCACN Swag: We will have Muscle Car Meetup Exclusive stickers, past event posters, magazines and more to give away. We will also be giving away a Framed Limited Edition Michael Irvine print to one of our lucky car owners! And for those who missed out, we have some of our MCACN Exclusive Auto World Dodge Challenger T/A's and some of our MCACN Johnny Lightning cars and the cool MCACN logo metal signs and bears to sell. These are TRUE Limited Editions and when they are gone they are gone, so plan on getting yours at the show.

6. A day of relaxation and fun.  This reason was added by Vicki, who adores a day of enjoying nature and talking to friends (both old and new). You can have a fun and relaxing day in an absolutely gorgeous setting with the whole family. Plenty of room for little ones to play on the sprawling 90 acre campus, cool breezes, and great conversations. For those of you who have been to the Gilmore Museum grounds, you know what I'm saying. For those who have not, believe me, you'll be happy that you made the trip!

7. The Gilmore Museum Itself. Lets not forget that the Museum is worthy of a trip, even without all the other perks. The Mission of the Gilmore Car Museum is to tell the history of America through the automobile. They foster experiences which connect people with the history, heritage, and social impact of the automobile through collecting, preserving, and interpreting its story. The Gilmore Car Museum is North America's largest auto museum with over 400 vehicles on display and over 190,000 square feet of exhibit space. The Museum’s 90-acre Historic Campus features numerous vintage structures including a restored and fully-functioning 1941 Silk City Diner, a recreated 1930s Shell Station, six onsite Partner Museums, and so much more.

Super excited and the weather forecast is perfect. Please plan on joining us, with or without your cool collectible car or truck. Car owners and swappers can register at the gate Saturday morning. This is a fund raiser for the upcoming Muscle Car Specific building, so please plan on joining us to support a really great cause!
