BLOOMINGTON GOLD CORVETTES RETURN TO BLOOMINGTON!
There is no doubt that the passion and enthusiasm for America's favorite sports car is at fever pitch. With the introduction of the state of the art C8, we are seeing not only long term Corvette fans but lots of new people getting into our hobby. Whether it is the C8 or one of the originals, there are more people into Corvettes than ever. Just ask our friends at Bill Stasek Chevrolet, Illinois #1 Corvette dealer and our Presenting Sponsor! The biggest problem they have is having enough Corvettes in stock, both new and used, to meet demand. And if you have to have a problem, that's not the worst one.
This week marks the return to Bloomington for Guy Larsen and his team. And not just the annual event, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary, but also a return to the city of Bloomington, Illinois where it all started. And think about it; an event does not survive for 50 years without a lot of reasons! Between the coveted Gold Certification, Benchmark and Survivor judging, a swap meet and a wide variety of vendors, free seminars and so much more. If it is Corvette related, it is there and don't forget that they have also added Camaro's to the mix and have opened the door for modified Corvettes, due to the increased interest and popularity of the Resto-Mods. Of course, you'll find special displays of these along with Camaro's and the best of the best in the Gold Collection!

So if you are on the quest to add the MCACN Corvette Central Triple Diamond award to your trophy case, Bloomington Gold certification, along with NCRS certification is required. These cars truly represent the best of the best, so take a close look at these prime examples, as many will be joining us in November!

HOT ROD POWER TOUR: I am thrilled to announce the Hornet is alive! Ian and I will be hitting the road to do the entire Power Tour in our 390 powered '73 AMC Hornet for the Long Haul, spreading the gospel of MCACN. We'll be leaving from the Detroit area to hit Memphis, Nashville, Hoover, AL with a stop at the Wellborn Muscle Car Museum, then on to Pensacola, Fl and then Atlanta! Thanks go out to Ed and Brian for the entire rebuild of the drivetrain and to MCACN Official Sponsor Summit for some of the great parts. If you are hitting any of the stops, be sure to chase us down!

MCACN MUSCLE CAR MEETUP AT THE GILMORE MUSEUM: The response has been pretty overwhelming, and we are set to have an awesome event. Cars, cool people, live music, a MCACN Premier Unveiling and even a funny car start-up are on the schedule. We will have over 50 cars in a very special MCACN display area, so if you have shown at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals or are planning to this year, please plan on joining us.
