MCACN Teams Up with The Gilmore Car Museum For Muscle Car Meetup II

For years people have asked us to do an outside event with a Muscle Car/MCACN theme. While the concept sounds great, finding the perfect spot was a challenge, Well...that all changed last year when we teamed up with The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan, (midway between Chicago and Detroit) to present our inaugural MCACN Muscle Car Meetup.

The Gilmore Car Museum is among the absolute finest and most diversified car museums in the world. With numerous themed buildings, beautiful grounds and of course, fantastic cars, it is well worth a visit on its merits alone. Adding a car show right on the surrounding grounds gives you another reason to make the trip.

We will have a special designated area for cars that have been shown with us at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show. Last year we had well over 100 that joined us from numerous states and Canada in our area! We'd love to see even more, so if you have shown with us in the past, or plan on joining us in November, please let me know by emailing bashton426@gmail.com. This event is a fund raiser for the upcoming Muscle Car specific building, so c'mon out to support a great cause and let tell you all about it.

In addition to the cars, (we had over 500 total last year!) we will have live music, giveaways, several seminars and talks, a small swap area and great food. Many of our MCACN team members will be joining us, (several with their cars) and I am also bringing a row of Muscle Bicycles from our collection. We will have giveaways, including TWO framed and matted Michael Irvine limited edition prints.

We will have some past event T-shirts, in sizes Youth- Adult 5XL. some of our 2021 and 2022 Official Auto World and Johnny Lightning Event cars and the brand spankin' new mass market MCACN Johnny Lighting cars. Oh...and some of our MCACN signs and teddy bears too! We will also have the "Winged Holy Grail" Book on hand for sale as well.

Of course, if you haven't shown your car, truck or bicycle at the MCACN show in Rosemont, we still want you to bring your vehicle for the general Gilmore car show area. Whether it is old or new, muscular or, well...not muscular, car, truck or bicycle we'd love to see it. Let's fill the Gilmore Museum grounds with cool vehicles and have a blast!

Pre-Registration is strongly recommended, and will be open until Friday June 23, and the fee to enter is just $20, which includes full access to the entire museum for two. Whew...what a deal!
