MUSCLE CAR MEETUP, PRESENTED BY MCACN & BLOOMINGTON GOLD
This is the time of year when we have all kinds of great car events. It seems like every week we can head in just about any direction, as we did last week for the Hot Rod Power Tour, hitting five different cities to spread the word about MCACN. What an awesome week it was! Great to see so many old friends, several of our Official Sponsors and making a whole lot of new friends. We distributed over 1,000 postcards, magnets, flyers, t-shirts and stickers and I have to say, there was more recognition of what we do than ever! (just ask Ian, as we were getting stopped at every stop, hotel and gas station!).
So this week I wish we could be in two places at the same time. Alas, we will be at The Gilmore Museum to host our third Muscle Car Meetup, Presented by the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals, Saturday, June 22. This is like an outdoor MCACN picnic, in a beautiful setting at an absolutely outstanding museum. If you ever thought about visiting, this gives you another reason to make it happen! Without a doubt one of the most impressive automotive museums in the world, it also has so much more. The displays, the diversity and the grounds are second to none. And to keep things light and fun for the Muscle Car Meetup, there is no "judging", just some fun "Pick" awards. AND, there is swap meet, live Rock and Roll and new this year, an automotive artists area, Hosted by this year's MCACN Featured Artist Steven Macy.
We will surround the big MCACN tent with cars that have been previously shown with us, or are being shown this year. So many of our regulars and supporters are joining us, assuring a super high quality event and great variety. And the rest of the grounds will fill with even more of just about any kind of cool collector car, truck and even Muscle Bicycles. Of course we will be featuring awesome examples of prime American Muscle, some great Corvettes and even a few drag cars to spice things up.
This is where I shot the Adrianna poster with the Straub's hot '71 Challenger R/T and I stashed some of the 2023 show posters specifically for this event. Adrianna and the Straub family are joining us with several cars from their awesome collection, and Adrianna will be happy to sign one of the posters for you. If you would like to join us with a car you have shown at MCACN, you can lock in your spot now by pre-registering. We will "tag" your entry and direct you to our special display area, but you must pre-register to guarantee your spot in our area.

We will also have a variety of MCACN wearables, Official Event cars, signs, and more for you. We are doing a $10.00 super special, and (hint-hint) something even better for those who attend, so don't miss out!

BLOOMINGTON GOLD: Guy and Jocelyn Larsen and their awesome team are geared up and ready for the Granddaddy of Corvette events, June 20-22 in Bloomington, Illinois. If you are a Corvette enthusiast, no matter what year you prefer, this is an absolute must do event.
And of course, there wouldn't be a MCACN Corvette Central Triple Diamond program without Bloomington Gold, as you must first achieve Bloomington Gold certification and an NCRS Top Flight to be eligible. We know there are a lot of people heading to Bloomington in preparation for joining us November 23-24 to vie for our Triple Diamond! Add in the swap meet, some neat seminars and presentations, the GoldTour, the featured Gold Collection and you have all the makings of another awesome event. And don't forget, they added factory stock Camaro and Pro Touring Corvette certification to keep things exciting. Wish we could be there too!
