At the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, we always refer to the show as a "work in progress". What does that mean? Allow me to explain....
Many shows obtain success and settle for doing the same things year after year. That's fine, but in today's world, to maintain success and viability, we have to recognize that we are indeed a "work in progress'. As you know, we travel to a LOT of shows and events and I am always amazed that many promoters seem to forget just how much work it takes to not only be a participant, but to also just attend shows. Time off work, expenses, keeping the family happy are all considerations when making the decision to attend. And this is something we understand.
One of the ways we work for you, whether you are a participant or an all important spectator is to make sure we have great deals at nice hotels. We negotiate to get the best rates and extra perks that are exclusive to the MCACN show. We have SEVEN Official Host Hotels, and all understand who we are and what we do. Rates start at just $144.00 per night at the Crowne Plaza and $149.00 per night at the Hyatt Regency, (which is directly attached to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center) and all are nice, clean and convenient. In fact, five of our hotels are literally directly across the street, while the aLoft and the Loews are just a few blocks away, all within the cool Rosemont Entertainment district. August Heats Up : August heats up in more ways than one for the MCACN crew. Mecum Auctions, our Official Title Sponsor, is geared up and ready for the big Monterey auction and of course, the entire week is jam-packed with activities out there.
We will be making our annual pilgrimage to the Mopar Nationals August 6-8 out in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and then to the very first public Open House and Car Show at The Brothers Collection 1st Annual Cruise-In in Salem, Oregon, Sunday, August 17. CAR ENTRY: While many categories and most of our Special and Invitational displays are already full, (sold-out) we do have a few more openings. As always, we are looking for the best of the best with an emphasis on seldom (or never!) shown examples of true American Muscle. If you have something you'd like to show, please send pictures and information to bashton426@gmail.com for consideration. Please note; Barn Finds, Camaro Legends and Mopar Concours judging classes are completely full with waiting lists.
